- Precista PRS17a - One of the rarest #Precista divers watch (yes, not the RAREST, see my PRS 11 review) that I own. This is an amazing piece with some real history behind these models. Enjoy!

I am sorry about the intro (yes, that was a mistake...ugh 🙃) but I hope you all enjoyed the content!
Hey man, the title is off… ever*.
@@2K9s Yeah...I know. My bad!
This channel deserves so much more attention from watch enthusiasts.
Thank you, Victor. That means a lot to me.
Love those, cracking design. I’ve one of Eddies Smiths PRS-25’s it’s fantastic. Oh I’m blaming you for picking up a Beams quartz one of these 😂
LOL I am laughing about the Beams quartz
Best video yet, my friend!! Excellent review of a fantastic watch!! Wish I owned one 😊!!
Thank you sir! Couldn’t do these without your support 👍
What an impressive diver!
VERY well done video!
Thank you for sharing another watch with us.
Thank you for the kind words, sir!!
Another watch with history behind it. Thank you for sharing!!
You’re welcome and I hope you enjoyed learning some of the rich history behind this piece 👍
Great video! I have admired the PRS17 for years! Wish Time Factors still made them.
Me too! But "Frickers" is long gone, the cases would be "Chinese made" I assume now.
What a cool watch. I've bought twice from Time Factors. Not a huge fan of the being open for sales one day a month or so (and only a few minutes) but I've had good experiences so far with the watches I've bought. Thanks for the vid.
Bob, which models have you bought? It's frustrating (when he's open) but it is a "one man band" and I know so many people love his work like we do. So I really try to sympathize. Thanks for the comment kind sir
@3 Hand Hunter I picked up a 36mm Everest and the PRS 40 a couple years or more back. Both are gone now but they were great watches. Just have to be quick to order when they open the flood gates.
Very good looking watch.
Thank you, sir!
Excellent
🙏 TYVM
Dude what a watch and, as a Brit too, what I'd give to have my hands on the original issues. Great review and thanks for sharing your thoughts. Love the style of watches you review!
Thank you, sir! I really appreciate the kind words and I hope I did this beauty justice 👍
I’m not sure i mentioned it but that one on eBay sold for 2750usd. I missed it obviously 🙄
Great video Blake. That case design is so cool. Did you say how much these usually sell for today?
Hey Rob, I didn’t. Problem is you will rarely (if ever) find this Precista for sale. The Sinn and Tutima quartz you may find for 1000-1500usd when they pop up. The real ones (issued) maybe for 3-4K or so
@@threehandhunter thanks!
Hi Blake, I have just found your channel and loving it. I am very much like you in the way you collect and let go of some of your watches.
Can I ask where you brought your Precista PRS17a from ? As I had one and found it a little small for and I just wondered as I sold it.
Well I do have to let them go. Two reasons: 1. I want to try every watch literally 😂 2. I have to have new watches for content too!
I got the prs17 from a local watch enthusiast buddy. I think he bought on watchuseek years ago.
Thanks for watching my channel 🙏
I have the Everest Expedition which was well worth the 6 month wait until Eddie had it in stock. I would recommend Time Factors watches for something a little different and well made.
💯 agree with you 👍
dude classic watch there and so jealous that you got your hands on one LOL 😎😎
Keep your eyes open, WatchUSeek is a great forum to be on the hunt!
@@threehandhunter 👍😅
Have you looked into RoyLTaylors watches (RLT) Another V small volume English producer, I have an RLT 20 in black and I was very surprised what goosd value it was.
I have never heard of RLT but I am googling now!
ultra rare. lol the royals
😆
I've bought 3 watches from Timefactors...everything was fine. Again, don't understand the LE concept?? .Isn't selling watches the point ??
I have to get up earlier next time for sure
Don't understand the LE strategy...seems like selling watches is what you want to do....Plus it snares more people in the watch cult....I mean hobby..
Yeah, me neither! But if you are a one man band, maybe only capable of so much? I’m 🤔
Ready to sell the watch? 😅🫣
I unfortunately did! I had a viewer offer me a price I could not turn down. He’s active military so I obliged 👍
