- The Dietrich skin diver was a watch I was hunting down for the last couple years, then over the holiday season 2022 something happened. The newer sd-2 were for sale at some grey market websites. After communicating with Emmanuel Dietrich, founder/owner of Dietrich watches, my suggestion to you (if you like this watch) is that you may want to find one while you can. Also, I upgraded the bracelet. And I tell you when I got it from. I hope you enjoy this owner review of this amazing timepiece.

Me too. I’m kinda sad about the whole situation. Still searching for the right “Organic Time” for me. So many color combos. But I love having a conversation piece when at dinner parties 😀
I have the blue version. LOVE THE WATCH! Perfect size, love the dial and has a great movement. HATE the rubber strap. Only fault of the watch. Does come with a black nato strap.
Try a smooth black FKM. I love mine!
It looks like only the bracelet can be purchased at AliExpress. I'm about to snag one for ~$75 and will like get an unbranded clasp also. Thank you for showing this.

Nice watch. The hour and minute hand look very similar on video.
They do, but fortunately the minute hand has more length. But one different hand would have made sense (for a diver).

Very nice watch and nice review. I would say a kind of unique design but it reminds me a lot the Tuseno Shellback. And i really wonder which one came out first.
That is a good question. The SD-1 came out sometime in 2020 I think...interesting thought!
It's doesn't really look like a tuseno at all. Ok they are sandwich dials..thats it
I love the bracelet. So much so I bought one from the San Martin Store. It's a gorgeous 20mm and it wears great on most of my watches.
Okay, you got me thinking I may have to swap out in some other watches too? What else does it pair with?
@@threehandhunter The easier question would be; what does it not work with? San Martin really got it right with this bracelet. It works with vintage looking watches, modern ones, you name it. Have fun. 😊👍

cool review.! that ceramic vs alum bezel discussion is an interesting one. I personally prefer alum bezels- hoping one of mine fades to 'ghost' eventually.

I have some concerns about the SW-200 movement, based on some negative things I've come across in forums and on YT (more specifically, issues with wear on the reverser wheels). The 200-1 was an attempt to correct this issue, but those can still have trouble as well.
I didn’t know that Jay, I will report back. But I wear my watches usually for 1-2 days then once a month. So I may have a different experience
