I don't own monsteras at all for many of your reasons and they generally get huge and take up loads of space. I think they are beautiful though but not for my home space and all. I felt your alternatives for each of them were spot on. I do enjoy my moonlights and exotica trailing in my pots because they have been trouble free, no pests and a real pleasure to sit and watch them grow :))

Oh hi Jaclynn. I would love to get another Monstera adansonii because the one I had died and I want a larger one and I think I can keep it alive this time. I have the Monstera Peru and I really love it, it has beautiful leaves that are so great looking. The Monstera Albo is on my wish list. Oh I have a Scindapsus that is so beautiful and it is on that trellis I won from you that is a big wooden leaf. You’d think that spraying a cactus that it would suffocate its process to grow in the light. So much for cleaning the plants.

That’s what I need. The ficus benjamina variegated. I think it’s really beautiful and would add to my ficus collection.

Our Lowes in the Hudson Valley had the self watering pots - in clearance...with a couple of mostly dead unidentifiable plants in them. Maybe the northeast had a very bad shipment when they came in?

I had to run over there a couple of days ago for a new remote, and looked at the plants on my way through.. it was very sad looking 😮‍💨 I'm glad you went Home Depot though, because I only stopped by Lowe's yesterday, and I was feeling the FOMO for not going 🤣 You saved me a trip!

Oh wow Jaclynn so many beautiful plants, I really like Alocasia's I just haven't found any yet that I want. I also really love the Pothos Manjula, I have a tiny one and would really like to get another one and pot them together. I also like fittonia and want another one of those. I am planning on going to my Home Depot and Lowe's to see what plants they have and also my wonderful nursery that always has gorgeous plants that I love getting.
