Next time you do a Manchester, NH trip check out the Hooksett Home Depot that's right off of 93 exit 10! Also that Lowes you stopped at...turn right at the intersection right before it and drive 3 miles down the road to Frizzhome Gardens on the left. Go inside the barn, the tropical greenhouse is through the back. It is HEAVEN!
I saw the Home Depot after I had already planned to hit Manchester, so I definitely will check it out next time! I've added Frizz Home to my list for when I head down toward Merrimack! Thank you for the suggestions!! 🥰🥰

Here in Mesa, Gilbert and Apache Junction, AZ, Lowe’s is crushing it for tropicals and succulents!
Home Depot was doing well then suddenly flatlined.
The tropicals section looks NOTHING like the ones on Yourube.
Walmart will surprise with some, but you have to get them as soon as they come in or you have to know how to rehab, chop and prop or just buying the plant for the pot.
I got 2 Krimson Queen plants with over 4ft of vines from Walmart as well as a Black Velvet that’s doing amazing well. They had some monstera Pink Princess for like $10-20. Can’t recall the price but it was ridiculously cheap for the size
Sadly I’m having a hard AF time getting Hoyas in my area, sans the Krimson Queen and some Hoya Rope from HD for only $17 each and they were well established, rooted and already drooping at 5in longest vine
Aside from getting some ZZ Raven pieces that people broke off of the plants, the only other good find in my area was a Peperomia Ruby Cascade at Walmart that I missed out on and would have probably killed, as Peperomia seem to loathe me
I found one of those silver band marantas in Lowes and I was soo excited. I actually potted up a little succulent garden with a few of mine that I recently bought and one I already had. I put some little decorative stones on top and it looks so cute. My burtonie is blooming and I'm so excited!!! My first blooms and then I found the variegated versions being sold on palmstreet and I had to get it then the same seller was selling a bigger pot of it and I had to snag that one as well because I wanted to make a bigger pot.🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️

Walmart overall here is a waste of your time BUUUUUT they will surprise you with plant/planter options every now & again.
