Ridiculously nuanced band - people should talk about this album way more. Some of the soaring melodies put traditional heavy metal and black metal to shame. Heroic, pensive, aggressive all at once.

That's George Gurdjieff on the cover and i'm guessing most of the titles and themes of tbe album come from his works

I am a pro jazz musician(drums mainly but more recently guitar) for over 30 years and I can say without hesitation that Killing Joke are one of THE greatest bands of the post punk era.Original,intense and smart.Geordie was a total legend.

Even though I was aware of Napalm since the early 90s I've only recently realised their genius. This is one my faves but I think that, whatever this FDR version gains in clarity, it loses it in heaviness.

This album was released in Brazil in 1998. In the same year a radio program called "Lado 1 / side one" played tracks 6 and 7; They also said: this band was considered the best Industrial band of 1997. Thanks for sharing \m/_
