- The first proper LP from Dominick Fernow's industrial techno project Vatican Shadow, released in 2013 on his label Hospital Productions. This is the first Vatican Shadow material conceived specifically for a full-length album and one of only a handful of CD releases for the project to date. Sonically, it's a departure from the earlier, more ambient cassette releases to a more direct, driving sound that would be explored further on future releases.
The vinyl version is currently sold out, but the CD can still be purchased from Boomkat here:

Some of the best industrial techno ever
fuck yes ! fantastic flow, fantastic good artist !
listening to vatican shadow as an admirer of muslimgauze, gotta say this to me feels sorta similar to Return of Black September and Mullah Said but with these hypnotic electronic vibes instead of tribal
beautiful blue in the picture
Love Vatican Shadow and Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement so much. All of his projects are pretty awesome, but I have no idea where to start with Prurient. The catalog for that particular project is a tad daunting, to say the least.
Yeah there is a ton of Prurient releases and quite a bit of variety in the ones I've heard. For more accessible albums you can try Bermuda Drain or Frozen Niagra Falls (both with lots of synth, beats, etc. rather than straight noise), or Cocaine Death and The Black Post Society which lean heavier on the noise/power electronics side but still have a fair bit of recognizable melody. If you want something harsher than that, try The History of Aids.
Oh and if the you like Vatican Shadow then you'll probably the Through the Window album as well. It's a lot closer to VS than any other Prurient I've heard, basically two long ambient techno tracks with a short noise track sandwiched between them.
@@Paginitzuthanks for the reccomendations!
One of my favorite Prurient album is And Still Wanting
'Enter paradise' - nice to hear a bit of BM thrown in there

bomb
Sometimes smells like black metal
c'est pour ça que j'aime Vatican
The work lives with the gaze we give it. It is not limited either to what it is or to the person who produced it, it is also made by the one who hears it. Music and Painting are a space of questioning and meditation where the senses that we attribute to it can come and be made and undone 🤡
The verse from Joshua goes actually like this according to KJV:
But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.
Rappers, Hip hop artists, ceremonial DJ, electro/cybernetics, Free style musicians pay tribute to the mighty Kraftwerk 😏
don't take credit for Kraftwerk because you're old.
