13 million Switch sales for March 2024-25 is achievable if there’s a significant price drop, some new colours/themed consoles & some Nintendos great lineup of games. I wouldn’t be surprised if they release a new model Switch like an XL version. You never know with them

I think Switch 2 will launch in March of 2025 to coincide with the launch month of the original switch what is Nintendo decided that March 3 would be the launch date for the successor to the current switch? We can’t rule that out.

If Nintendo is smart, they would send out to emails those who already own a Switch and let them know that they will get priority to order (1) Nintendo Switch 2 from them. This will deter a few scalpers at least.

If IGN said that *Nintendo* said that the Switch 2 won’t be releasing by the end of March, it most likely is legit. But I really don’t wanna believe that, and I hope that they’ll surprise us by releasing it then, or maybe even by the end of December like the 1st leaks about it said.

Been following Nintendo’s history of announcements. Usually when they officially announce the name and specs of the system, there’s been a waiting time of 1 year plus. This was the case from the Wii to the Wii U and the DS to the 3ds. These successor consoles had a 1 year gap between official announcement and official launch. All that we’re getting right now is forecasting. We still have not seen the official announcement for the successor of the Nintendo Switch. In my opinion, when we see that official announcement it will be another year before the system launches. My guess is official announcement of the system in March 2025 and system release holiday 2025 (if we’re lucky) or March 2026 (which seems more realistic.) This would get final development of games for current gen finished and first lineup of game ready for the next gen switch. All this is just my hunch, so please take it with a grain of salt. None of us have a true in with Nintendo. We’re all just happily speculating. Happy gaming all! 😁

Highly doubt the switch is coming out this year, having the fact that official local news outlets are reporting a announcement in march of next year, there is no way that could be misinterpreted if news officials have already got it out to the public, i understand everyone just wants to rush the release and it’s been long awaited for the new console but give it time, just know by next year it will definitely be in our hands

I just hope this doesn't repeat the similar situation with the Wii U that failed, I think the Switch has been successful and it'd lifespan has been the longest in history.

It’d be crazy if even with the extra 6 months and the fact that there’s no semi conductor shortage this time the Switch 2 was in such high demand that it exceeded even Nintendo’s expectations and was still getting scalped.

There's an accounting principal known as "conservatism" that dictactes you provide projections in a conservative manner so its no shock that they omitted Swicth 2 hardware numbers.

I just don’t get it. By the time Nintendo releases the next Console it will be outdated by two PlayStation generations in terms of capabilities. So why would it take so long to release an extremely outdated console? Nintendo continues to drop the ball. The switch was a great console but outside of 1000 anime FuFu games they only released a handful of actual games that people would want to play that are older than the age of 10. I have been a Nintendo fan, my whole life, and have literally every Console they have ever released but if they release this outdated system with only a handful of games again, like they did with the Wii, U and the switch I will be done buying Nintendo
