This is what your're doing WRONG when installing your brakes
#urbanriders #scootertuning #brakeupgrade #yamahabws
We have seen this way too much and heard people complaining about how hard it is to change the brake pads on your scooter, but its super easy! Follow these simple steps and never have problems again! But... if you want something with extra braking power, than an upgrade is the way to go! We also install an upgraded twin pot caliper from Motoforce to give this scooter the edge! This caliper is for the Yamaha Nitro/Aerox 100 but will fit your Bws and work with your standard Bws brake disk.

Why this should ALWAYS be your FIRST scooter MOD!
zhlédnutí 1KPřed 2 měsíci
#urbanriders #scootertuning #malossi #multivar #yamahabws We put out a poll not too long ago and only 51% of people think a variator should be your first mod! We want to increase that number because this should definitely be your first scooter modification. With an increase of around 15% from this upgrade alone and less power loss overall through the CVT, its a no brainer to sort this out first...

Try some 12.5 gram rollers green clutch springs standard contra spring found that to best the best set up for me
Hello Guys, do you know where I can find new plastics for the Scooter?
Gonna try this with my Italjet Dragster tomorrow I’ve been told to leave the standard big spring in I’ve currently got the the white Malossi one in
Hello everyone, I'm having an issue with my 2014 TMAX 530. The check engine light is on, and while the bike starts and drives perfectly, it won't exceed 5000 RPM and remains in limp or safe mode. I scanned the bike and received a code 12, which indicates a problem with the crankshaft position sensor. However, I can't seem to locate the crank sensor on the bike. these scooters use pickup coils. Any advice or guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
i wouldnt use those malossi filters.too much noise like installing " race " exhaust wasted on 4t.or atleast protect that intake area.that filter ll not save ur engine from rain or dirt even u clean it.u can mod ur stock filter box.
You guys have a lot of pre-bugs out there?
Not many, but we may have just bought one 👀
very beautiful!
got like 3k in parts 230$ you can get a gy6 150 cc bolt on besides shock placement
16:31 hope u noticed after but u forgot to remove the pins in the torque driver
Yor super nice sound
J aimerai savoir avez vous changer le plateau d'allumage d'origine et installer un boîtier ??
I've put the same in my bws but it overheats🥲
Do you mean the clutch overheats? If yes, it could be because your setting of the clutch is too 'hard' so the clutch is slipping because it can't engage fully. What setting are you on?

The 125 4v air cooled motor is a stormer. I’m not certain but the closest scooter I can find engine wise is the Peugeot Tweet 125. Again known for its peppyness 👍
This scooter is really good bang for your buck! We don't get the Peugeot's in South Africa but they seem similar
Great result 👍 if possible, try get the 125cc Piaggio motor with the infamous 172 kit. Torque galore AC/LC doesn’t matter. Piaggio even fitted a great pipe as standard 👌 respect to your build, keep an eye on temps with that motor
That would be awesome! We almost bought a Gilera Typhoon 125 to do that exact build but unfortunately it fell through. I hope to get one soon! We do own a Runner 180 and the Italjet 180 that will be in future builds.
beautiful caliper brother❤
Hi ! great video ! Please upload the second part to see the lowered BWS please mate ! have a great day !
Coming soon!
You didn't mention anything about pushing in the brake caliper piston. Maybe a good idea to edit the video.
That is true, definitely something to do in a future video! We wanted to focus on the errors of fitment this time.
Okay i need somone to explain this to me cuz I'm stupid, im assuming the color of the burnt fuel has something to do w the air fuel ratiois etc to get the tune down right???
You not stupid, you are correct that the colour of the burn varies depending on the fuel/air mixture. Red-Yellow is on the rich side, and Blue-white is on the lean side. So in this shot the bottom cylinder is leaner and the top on the richer.
top speed is lower?
Top speed is higher but unfortunately we did not get that part recorded.
2 or 4 stroke?
This is the 2-stroke 100cc YW100. We only received the 125cc 4-stroke BWS for one year and then Yamaha stopped importing them because it was too expensive for our market.
Can i ask where you bought your clocks
From Koso
Sorry did i miss the part where you did the pre loading of the bearings after seating the cups and backing off?
It's from the 10min mark but not shown specifically because it's done the same as tightening but it's a 'feel' not something you can see. But if you would like us to do DIY tutorial videos too, let us know what you want us to film?
Any of you know 2025 kymco like125 will same or new shape?
I would think it is going to be the same. They normally run the same style for 2 years before making any changes. Will be interesting to see.
Thankyou for your bws vids 😊 How does stock crank hold up to the malossi 124 big bore kit?
Thank you! There aren’t too many options for upgraded cranks, but we have not had any faults with the stock crank. It’s more common to burn a hole in the piston than for the crank to go 😂
@@urban_riders I'm deciding which of the big bore kits would best suit my bws - running technigas silent pro, malossi mutivar... Biggest might be best? Malossi 124 v airsal 120 v naraku 113.... Have u tried the naraku?
@@angelaquinn8310 We have used the Airsal kits a few times, and we have fitted a Naraku kit. For us the Malossi cylinder with the other Malossi parts was the best for power.
@@urban_riders thankyou 😎 sounds like malossi is the right choice for me
I heard these 100cc engines are not performing well and it’s worth to upgrade a 50cc to 70cc as I have , if it’s worth let us know so we can buy an engine and fit it to our frames as they are the same , thanks
Yes, that is correct. The 50cc is much better for modifying as they have way more parts available. The frames should be the same and it is an easy swap. Unfortunately in South Africa we got very little 50cc scooters and the ones we did get don't accept all the same mods. You would have to be very specific with which engine to start with.
hit you with a thumbs down immediately for the music.
Sorry, we had the record player on the wrong speed setting.
i ran a similar build, you probably need a riser or the exhaust will scrape the ground, i put a 60mm riser but there are lower options.
Yes, it seems to be way too low. We have ordered a Stage 6 riser which should raise the engine by 40mm. Our shock is also 310mm which is 25mm longer than stock.
@@urban_riders I ran a 310 malossi shock with a 60mm riser, with the same subframe. and it was pretty damn high. So 40mm should be perfect for a lowered style.
Do you have Malossi kits for Suzuki Burgman 125cc 2018
Hey @lyndonshare7679 yes we do! Send us an email for more info and we can go from there!

Здравствуйте, подскажите пожалуйста Ты шайбу ставил за передним шкивом вариатора?
Yes we did! We didn't have one in this video, but when we installed the lighter rollers and belt in the next video we placed the washer.
@@urban_riders Wenn es nicht schwierig ist, beantworten Sie noch eine Frage. Sollte ein Riemen mit dieser Unterlegscheibe 1 mm oder mehr überstehen?
@@vvvvvv6602 The 1mm washer is perfect, I do believe the Malossi front fan pulley comes with a 2mm washer, but it is personal preference!
@@urban_riders Herzlichen Dank
I add motor oil to bicycles, not to motorcycles
Most if not all the gains can be attributed to the pipe.
👍That is correct. The highest single power gain is in the exhaust. Around 30%
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
