Great to see the SA guys representing!
Thank you! 🇿🇦 love to see the South African love out here
Leovince is the brand of the ZX, greetings from Germany. 🤙
Ahh yes! We thought so.
They stopped bringing Leo Vince into SA, several years ago, because the importer got tired of replacing cracked pipes under warranty.
Hey guys when it comes to the bws 100 do you think the malossi 124cc kit is better than the airsal 118cc kit?
👍👍👍👍👍
Thankyou for your bws vids 😊
How does stock crank hold up to the malossi 124 big bore kit?
Thank you! There aren’t too many options for upgraded cranks, but we have not had any faults with the stock crank. It’s more common to burn a hole in the piston than for the crank to go 😂
@@urban_riders I'm deciding which of the big bore kits would best suit my bws - running technigas silent pro, malossi mutivar... Biggest might be best?
Malossi 124 v airsal 120 v naraku 113.... Have u tried the naraku?
@@angelaquinn8310 We have used the Airsal kits a few times, and we have fitted a Naraku kit. For us the Malossi cylinder with the other Malossi parts was the best for power.
@@urban_riders thankyou 😎 sounds like malossi is the right choice for me
Hello my friend, what is the transmission oil for the Yamaha BWS100
Hello! We use Malossi 75w-90 Gear Oil
Where did you buy the kit? Is there someone in South Africa that supplies Malossi kits and pipes
Have a look at our website urbanriders.odoo.com/
Hi, for a stock bws 100 with only malossi variator and malossi red sponge should I change the main jet?
We normally don't recommend using aftermarket air filters on a stock engine. The stock filter and airbox work best. The rule-of-thumb for jetting aftermarket filter is to go up 10% on the main jet. Std jet is 72.5 so using the Aerox 76 main jet would be easier change. Jetting can become very tricky on a CVT engine so is best avoided.
Can you tell me if it’s possible to fit a 100/125 kit to the 50cc cases? I’m wondering if it can be done? I know cases would need machined for cylinder but would crank fit? Is the rod big end pin same? Many many questions
Unfortunately they do not fit at all. The casings are completely different, however a 70cc could give you just as much performance if done correctly.
Leo Vince makes that pipe
I think you need stroker crankshaft and high pressure cylinder head (4VP head is old style and inefficient)..
I used 50.1mm crankshaft with Malossi and Airsal 117cc full set...I think Airsal is better..
We plan on doing a full build soon 👀. With the Malossi barrel and machined head as well as the stroker crank!
But the Airsal kit is also a really solid mod!
Any experience using the malossi cylinder in combination with the airsal 117cc head?
I'm building an aerox with this engine
@@wesselmeijer625 Airsal head volume is 11cc, original is 13cc! You can calculate a simple compression.
My opinion is that you should make the circumferecence of airsal 57,7mm
are you leaving the exhaust port stock?
On this build yes, but if you’ve seen the “All Malossi Build” we did on Clayton’s black BWS we had done some porting to better match the exhaust and flow.
Hello, what spark plug is suitable for the bws100
The standard plug is BP7HS-10 but in the hot/warmer climates we suggest running the BP8HS-10 for a stock setup.
I heard these 100cc engines are not performing well and it’s worth to upgrade a 50cc to 70cc as I have , if it’s worth let us know so we can buy an engine and fit it to our frames as they are the same , thanks
Yes, that is correct. The 50cc is much better for modifying as they have way more parts available. The frames should be the same and it is an easy swap. Unfortunately in South Africa we got very little 50cc scooters and the ones we did get don't accept all the same mods. You would have to be very specific with which engine to start with.
i want to put a 54 mm block kit on my honda dio
That would be awesome!
Hey guys cool video.
Does malossi design the cylinder with the original head in mind?
Was wondering if it would be worth it, or even necessary, to redo the head to match the new bore? 🤔
the malossi cylinder says to use the stock head, but the stock head isnt the best design. The airsal cylinder looks a lot better compared to the malossi one and it comes with a matching head
Malossi used to have a cylinder head but it it has since been discontinued. You can use the stock head but some people get them machined. I don’t think it’s worth the trouble if you aren’t trying to squeeze out every bit of power.
The Airsal kit is also a really solid kit!
2 or 4 stroke?
This is the 2-stroke 100cc YW100.
We only received the 125cc 4-stroke BWS for one year and then Yamaha stopped importing them because it was too expensive for our market.
Hi is this fit to zuma 50cc
Hi @lizettefiguerres-dm1sn
This 125cc kit does Not fit the 50cc Minarelli motors. There are Malossi and Stage6 70cc big-bore kits available for your Zuma 50cc. What country are you, I can refer you to the best place to enquire?
@@urban_riders hi im from phillipine and i leave here in the US
@@lizettefiguerres-dm1sn then I suggest scootertuning.ca for your parts. And also scooterswapshop.com ✌
I want one
You should get one!
