There not abandoned , the place is a hotel, theres people working on them evey weekend, the jet stream is a flight simulator

hello sorry just to ask, if its okay to use a little bit of this video for one of my videos? if that's okay?

Knew this place in the 70s when it was fully functional, in very good state of repair, and used mostly as rented student accommodation. Some flats were larger and could accommodate a family while the others were self contained studios. The large space in front of the buildings was at the time a playground where neighbourhood kids would come to play football in the afternoons. There was a big car-park in the back, all fenced up as the area was considered rather rough. Can't imagine how it has been allowed to degrade to this pitiful state. Definitely haunted by all those spirits who have dwelled over many decades.

I live not far from this beautyful building, It is st tydfils hospital and work house, it was a mental asylum.

What fabulous film .I lived here for approximately 2 years when this building was a care home .My age 5-7 in 1953 .I am thrilled I found your film ❤❤❤

I was a member of this church and used to attend the services. It was about the time they joined with the Methodists. They also had plans to use the church more as a social centre as well. The congregation was not large, mostly older people. I remember Rev Starr who was really nice and made me feel very welcome and included although I was not a church person before. He even came to my home when my wife had been ill after having our second child. I'm sorry to see this church as it is now. I keep saying I will go back to Wallasey to see the changes as I havent been there since I moved away in 2001

So gorgeous! All that lovely woodwork, beautiful tile, archways... so sad it was all left. And it's astonishing all the decay a mere ten years can do. At least someone could salvage that gorgeous wood and tile? It's such a shame to leave it all there. And you are very brave going there by yourself as it is clearly dangerous, but you were very careful! Thank you for sharing this gem with us.

Hi Tracy. I know this is like a 5 year old video but I hope you don’t mind me leaving a comment anyway, but after watching this I just couldn’t not leave a comment! This is one of the nicest buildings I’ve ever seen and I can just imagine what it was like before it fell into dereliction. I’ve just read some further info on it (after reading your description) and I believe it is/was in the process of being restored and repurposed, which is excellent! I know this is a weird thing to say, but I love your accent! It’s like asmr 😂

You should have talked more about the house and the fireplaces and the unique things in it all you did was sit there and giggle and talk to each other

That would have been a half decent house in it's hay day. The kitchen would be nice done up. The long benchtop would be idea for bread making and baking. The full sized laundry is rare as well. I don't like the colour scheme though. But above all else, it was a nice find and nice explore.

Thanks, Tracy, for your tour of this church where I was baptised in 1948, when it was known as Egremont Presbyterian Church and where my grandfather was a church Elder. It was built in 1908 but, in 1972, the Presbyterian Church of England and the Congregational Church in England and Wales joined to form the United Reformed Church and the church became known as Egremont United Reformed Church. Because of the dwindling number of worshipers, in 1994 it united with Trinity Methodist Church and became known as the Manor Church Centre. At one time, it was the largest Presbyterian church in England, capable of accommodating no less than 1,000 worshipers. It finally closed its doors as a place of worship sometime after 2011. So sad to see that it has fallen into such a derelict state. My grandfather would be heartbroken. I well remember attending services services here as a boy when we were visiting my grandparents in Seafield Drive, Wallasey. I had to smile when you wondered if you had come across a confessional booth as these would only found in Roman Catholic (and Lutheran) churches and certainly not in a Presbyterian church.
