Seen a video posted a couple weeks ago that some Urbex folks went to check this place out and found out people are now living in it. The good news is this place will be saved and didn't get torn up by vandals; some mold remediation and other bits, good as new! Great place!

Dave Gilmore sold this place to Trevor Horn who lived there with his family untill 2006 when his wife was tragically shot in the neck by one of the sons who was playing around with an airgun...she never recovered from a brain tumor caused by the accident and died eight years later ...so alltho a beuitifull place allso somewhat sad too

@@TracyExplores Just google "ABANDONED PINK FLOYD MANSION" and its all there so maybe you should'nt have mentioned the Pink Floyd thing. I would of knew anyway ... ive seen it before by others who filmed it so i dont have to go there :D ...but at least the majority maybe wouldnt know.
I see you uk-ish explorers basically go to same places ...rarely something new, but i enjoy watching anyway.

I think that’s been a hotel or b&b because most bedrooms looked like they had lock on door and another give away it had fire 🔥 extinguishers and a lot of bathrooms And fire alarms it’s to commercial to have been private residents the way it’s set up
THISISTRULYODDVLOGBLOG belonged to a famous musician and has a record studio attached so I think when people came to record music they’d stay at the house too.

Didn't David Gilmour live here at one point in the 80s? And he recorded some of TFC here too. Some rock bands also recorded some albums in the built-in studio

That's an awesome place in such good condition!, considering the bathrooms are usually the place with the most moisture there doesn't seem to be any mold in them?🤔, it just seems to be in the other rooms..

Magnificant! Your BEST find yet! I really loved that main staircase area and office/study (I love all the other rooms too but those...) I would buy her in a minute, furnishings and all. The rooms as you said go on and on :-) and with a little elbow grease and a few weekends we could fix her right up again to her former glory! Wow Tracy this one was amazing. Strange that they only left some things but took other stuff. But at least there were no photo albums or personal things left. This place is so big it would take at least 2 days to figure out where each door will lead you. Would be fun to figure out. Stay safe. Glad you were with someone although the place looked very sturdy, didn't look like there was a chance of falling through floor or anything. I don't think I heard you say ouch in this one. Lol 😝

I read somewhere that pink floyds Dave Gilmore sold his mantion for several millions and gave it all away to the homeless charity shelter some years back thanks for the upload it was boss and the green lane library one as well 👍

Great video that place must cost a fortune some rooms looks too nice to be abandoned it’s like a mansion you can get lost in it and I’am not trying to be mean or anything but I noticed some places in the house I couldn’t see it was kinda dark

The average cost to maintain and provide utilities for a place like that is anywhere from $1.10 to $1.30 per square foot USD. Can you imagine what it cost to keep that place up? Even if you had the funds to do the mold redemption and put it back into a usable living space, you would need a small fortune to keep it up. Fucking governments and their taxes will be the end of these places as the old money dies off...what a shame.

So sorry...yes, I hate it when vandals destroy those places. To see all the tea cups still on the shelves on the dining room....that was my FIRST thought....how long will it remain as such. :-( Hope people can't make a connection to the locale because of my big mouth.....
Robert Morano to late many people have been there not because of you I mean word got round, apparently it’s been emptied by someone who knows the owner I just hope nothing got stolen or wrecked.
Still a shame to see such a lovely place degrade and deteriorate.....could you imagine the golden rays at dusk cascading through though windows? That long hallway with the wood paneling warmed by the radiators on a winters day as the snow falls, blanketing the garden in a white cold woolen blanket...sitting hearing the click tick as you place a game of chess, in the distance the knocking of billiards from the game room. Such an amazing place, it stirs so many images....but those ghosts will remain my vivid imagination, as now the halls are silenced, the warmth has left the building, like that of a corpse. It's like looking at shadows, at the husk of what once was. Thanks for documenting it before it's gone forever like Castle Noisey. Take care..be safe....say hello to Kurt and the HOE lads for me.

The abandoned house queen strikes again 😁 This is incredible, I would so love to party there, sure is urbex porn. The bathrooms are amazing and I love the different themes in each room. Can't get over all those cups and saucers stacked up so neatly and the piano was really cool too. Window seats as well, this place is just amazing. I've read that Mr Nice book, the most famous drug smuggler in the world, A Welshman 😂 Awesome video my lovely friend 👍😊

Amazing mansion. It is a Palace. Sad it was left to go all mouldy and start to rot. It's not too late. IT could still be saved and done up again or made into apartments. I wonder what happened to the people who owned it.

Apparently it was Trevor Horns house, there was a shooting accident there where his wife was injured and sadly later died
So it probably breaks there hearts to go back to the house.
