ABANDONED FACTORY l (STUFF LEFT BEHIND) ft Explores with Kurt and Hell On Earth

- Was invited along on this explore by Kurt and we had Hell on Earth show us round at this factory in Sheffield, with a crazy intro and an awkward ending this as one of the funniest explores ive been along too. Hers some history George Barnsley and Sons Ltd. (founded 1836) They were in Cornish Place on the Don and specialised in forge filing and cutting tools for leather workers and shoe makers. One George Barnsley was Master Cutler in 1883.
George Barnsley and Son is listed in the 1837 Sheffield directory as a file manufacture situated on Wheeldon Street, The 1849 listing records a move to Cornhill and the 1852 to Cornish works Cornish street they had by this time also increased there product range to include steel files, shoe and butchers knives.
They are again listed in 1944 as manufactures of files and blades shoe knives and leather workers tools.
In the 1948 listing the business had become George Barnsley and Son Ltd George Barnsley died at his home at No 30 Collegiate Crescent on 30th March 1958, he lived there with his wife Mabel and mother-in-law Elizabeth. He was a partner in the firm which were steel and file manufacturers and the business was converted into a limited company about 10 years before his death.

wow, my 2 fav explorers , tracy and hell on earth working together. was abit wierd for me as i love tracy explores for the real detailed and narrated explores but i also love the funny content but not very serious hell on earth....x

A Great Explore in a new type of setting! I love exploring old factories...you can just imagine the activities, people working and sounds...I felt bad for the poor bird @ 5:24 on the sill that passed away because it couldn't get out ☹️. Awesome explore Tracy, it had some really oldskool character. Loved all the old wooden desks and the spiral staircase was really cool too. Those floors looked really scary though 💀👍

Tracy,there's a place right outside 12 quays Birkenhead(stena Liverpool) looks like an old tower, Iooks well worth a blimp if your ever passing that way,access may be a bit tricky tho..love your videos very interesting:)

Ive wanted to see inside that place for ages,shame..OK I'll keep my eyes open for any places that may be of interest to you as I'm all over the place with work.there's an old church inside the docks(lpool side),think its where they buried sailors in the old days..the Belfast ferry almost touches it when moored,that's how close the building is to the mersey..surreal in the winter,very atmospheric cobblestones and fog..perfect match:))
GReat explore but that place is quite a mess, and the flooring is going too be worse soon i think, but enjoyed watching it.
