Used to love Auto-hotkey, until I switched to Strokeplus so I could use gestures to trigger PS's native hotkeys. So everything stay at its defaults or you can set additional hotkys for it to drive, and my fingers stay on Shift, Crtl, Alt, and Space.

How do you export the Timelapse?

Hands down the best user friendly config for blender, especially if you're a 2d artist with not much prior 3d baggage aka muscle memory for vanilla configs. I have tried to use vanilla blender and have about 2 years experience in Maya, but this is still super easy to jump into and I highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks Vaughan, you're doing gods work by updating these consistently even after all these years!

Regarding the palette, I quite like being able to limit myself based on colour sometimes. It would also be cool if there was a different type of palette, like a traditional pallette where you could blend and mix your colours in a more organic way. Like a seperate canvas in a window that you can paint onto then colour pick from.

35:45 Regarding the oil as default, I found it very magical as soon as I opened Webbypaint. Very buttery and plenty of noise. Also a lot of people I showed Webbypaint to felt exactly the same so yeah, I really like it as default.

I found myself relying a lot on colour swatches when painting in life drawing classes and especially for quick gesture. There is just no time to recreate values and hues from scratch and in oil I would probably have a big lump of premixed colours.

Modo is just difficult for me to understand, even with the basics of moving around.

This makes me feel a lot better. I make wipeout ships and logos for them frequently, but i can't stand to use illustrator when my strengths are so embedded in 3D and Photoshop. Hahaha it's almost easier to attempt it in Blender 😂

Do you notice a performance difference between JavaScript in WEBBYPAINT vs. gdscript in HEAVYPAINT?

Super cool app and painting! when you use the oil tool, the cursor seems to follow the rotation, how do you do that? i set mine to 'FOLLOW' and the strokes do rotate, but the cursor stays straight

Is there a way to get just the extrude tool improvements? This seems cool but I just don't need all the extra's I already have blender pretty customized and this seems like it changes a bunch of hotkeys

Hi! Ive tried both apps and webbypaint seems to have way more quality in the brushes especially in the oil brush is so much richer than the one in Heavypaint, why is that? When i use the heavypaint one it looks artificial or at least way different to this one. Have i changed any preferenced by mistake?
