Ned when I try to slice to new midi track I don't have the basic slice to sampler in the list of presets. And all the presets I have just mangle the sound so I can't follow along in the process any ideas?

🦆been using ableton for a little over 6 months, have really struggled using the tools in ableton to come up with creative and organic sounding music..this might be the best video ive seen yet the amount of cool little tricks in staggering...i am little unclear on what the resampling track is doing and how its sets up

THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED! So glad I found this. I prefer setting up my sounds to be playable for developing my songs. I will use some of the technique where you create randomization and madness of breaks, but I prefer to get them into a drum rack or simpler to play my phrases in. Amazing. Thank you!

so the whole point is about doing awful sounds and then tame them until they´re somehow pleasant to your ear? dang.

I would have rather seen how you created these sound... this way of arranging is just like a Rube Goldberg machine... just put everything in the arrangement, then mute certain clips for 16 bars, then you bubble around less with useless combinations that cause the arrangement to fall flat
