It is one of the asia's largest markets for wholesale products like sarees (indian women wear), spices, electronics etc. If you would have walked straight on the main road where there were temple, gurudwara, you would have found 100s of shops for eating like Haldiram's McDonald's, etc. 100s of local street vendors serving chole bhatore (famous in whole delhi and nearby cities), lassi, faluda, ram ladoo etc and other local cuisines. But you missed all that
