My first day in India and it's Holi 2024 in India!
Happy Holi everyone! I just arrived in India yesterday, one day before Holi 2024. This is my first time in India and of course also here in New Delhi. What a day to get first impressions of India. Holi is the biggest festival of the year in India. People are out in the streets celebrating and having a good time and I'll join them for Holi 2024 in New Delhi, India. Join me as we find out what's it's like celebrating Holi in India together with the locals.

Hi Ken, you're in India now - what an adventure ! At 02:48 This looks like Connaught Place, isn't it? Please don't forget to go South to Kerala, which has the most beautiful places, especially a Backwater tour with the local ship is unforgettable !
2 - 3 weeks in India, oh that's not enough. Even after travelling India for 3 months in a row, i got only a glimpse of what India is The North and the South as the West and the East are completely different. If you have a chance to stay longer i recommend this very strongly. And if it gets to strenuous, then take the next flight to Goa or Kerala and ... enjoy the time there

The meaning of putting colour on each other is that we all become Unrecognisable on this day we forget who we are ,we are not rich, We are not poor, we are not white ,we are not black.. we are all one big family.
This Tradition is started by God Krishna as he was dark skinned so his lover Radha She was Fair skinned used to tease him for being dark so Krisha made colours out of some berries and poured onto Radha and they started playing with colours.

Only during winter it get polluted 😂. Due to geographical condition and also pollution is limited to certain region of India. If you Himalayas or North East , south region air pollution is less even in winter.

Ravi reminds me of a young Indian lad who went out of his way to show us the way to where we needed to be after we had asked him for directions on the streets of Delhi.

Happy Holi to you and Ravi. What a sweet guy for taking you to celebrate the Holi Ken. I was in Delhi a long time ago. From Delhi, I went to Agra and hired a travel guide to show me around. Went to a Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, shopping and dining together. He drove me back to Delhi, then I flew to Amritsar, visiting a Golden Temple. The most amazing feeling while in the temple at night. It was a calm and serenity feeling while watching and listening to the prayer and chanting.
