Another issue that people are just now starting to talk about is the roll pin located above the trigger walking out a bit after 100 rounds or so or if you are firing rapidly, this isn't a common issue and your pdp model may be just fine but some out there are off spec and there is not much you can do if you're the unlucky one, it's frustrating because you won't know until you have already purchased the gun and fired it, I was very disappointed when this happened to me, I have since gone back to Glock pistols as they don't have the best trigger, the gen 5 trigger is much better and glock has never failed me, all that really matters is that you can trust it to work every time, had my roll pin not had any issues I would still be running the pdp, tried blue and red loctite also, that did not fix the issue

Question - I bought an S&W 2.0 Shield 45 four months ago. It’s still brand new in the box, has never been used and I’mll’ve been going back and forth about whether if I’m going to keep it or toss it because I prefer to have a Glock in 45 ACP. I paid a little over $500 for the S&W Shield, and I’m certain that I won’t get back as much as a paid for it, even though it’s still new. Does anyone have an idea of how much I’d get back for it if I were to sell it to a gun dealer?

I was hesitant about buying one of these because of how they’re priced (thinking it’s cheap) but I absolutely love it. Most ergonomic piece I have. My only complaint would be the trigger. It’s a little spongy. Doesn’t affect it as far as durability and reliability; minor complaint. Awesome gun!

I had springs in mag weaken so it wouldn't lock back slide. Aftermarket springs solved it, but lost one round capacity.

Got the Swampfox for my Hellcat RDP and I have a Solar Holosun for my AR. Now I regret not getting the solar for my Hellcat.

How can the optic cut be a con? it was made specifically to house MICRO Optics. If you want to put on a bigger optic the TP9 and RIVAL series accomodate those. And their are plenty aluminium / metal plates on offer by CANIK. The sights are not meant to be blacked out - The Mete SFx Pro, comes standard with blacked out sights. The side serations work brilliantly. Have never had a problem racking my SFX which I have had for 16 months. Your cons are based on your needs and not on the model.

What's the size of your olight ?

I love mine but i have to say, at the range those sights are abysmal on mine. They must be out of alignment or something . Was shooting at 10-15 yards and it was going way off to the left and down. Had to readjust my sight picture to get it on point of aim. Even happened with single action I also have that same kydex holster, it’s way to hard to get it out of the holster (This isn’t a skill issue either I’m with PD and scored a 94% on my qual with a Glock 45 so i for sure know proper trigger pull and grip lol)

Taurus and Rossi both today both are making high quality revolvers on par with S&W and at 1/3 the price.

Great review! Best upgrades to the PDP are: change the trigger to the Dynamic trigger, change the plastic guide rod to ZR tactical stainless steel 15LBS, change the Backstrap to LOK grip to balance the weight of the firearm and lastly port the slide and barrel instead of adding a compensator.

I was looking at the G3 model on the TaurusUSA website. Unless I miscounted, Taurus offers the G3 in 30 different sub-models. Unbelievable. I have the basic full-sized G3. Placing a thin and carefully measured slice of #2 pencil eraser behind the trigger stop cures the handgun's excessive backslap (trigger overtravel after firing). That turns the G3 into a fair target pistol.

What is the screw size and pitch? The screws sent by Beretta are too short?

I think that are worth more than they cost. Some of others aren’t worth what they go for. It is a tool. Not a show piece. Mine have always done what I needed it too. And once I shot it for a while the Trigger became awesome.

I bought the Shield 45, and was expecting it to be brutal being a 45 of that size but it was actually very pleasant to shoot. Its size and weight make it super easy to carry all day. I’ve upgraded to Trijicon night sights, and polished everything on the inside and plan on putting in an Apex trigger shoe eventually, but it’s what I carry everyday. I love it!!

Ive got 3 shields. All of them have been great. I carry the shield plus on my hip and gen 1 shield on my ankle. They kickass in every caliber

Hey practical you ever thought about doing more higher prices fire arms. Along the lines of 500 to 600. I would like your input on the Glock line specifically Glock 30 line which will be my first purchase. Not telling you what to do but it be interesting to see more firearms in 500 price range and a little bit over to see if they are practical. Idk I just like your channel.

I purchased my 407c about a month ago and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't really a dot but more of a circle, I really like my new holosun optic and I just got my new optic gard 507 /407 protective cover for it which really set it off for me

Mine kept jamming only when running the extended mag. Didn’t trust it and sold it. My 9mm i carried for 7 years and never jammed.

Yeah ..always degreaser the screw holes cause lkcktite won't hold well if not .. And 13-15 inch pound on them no more ....theres almost always locktite on every screws now ..

It's ashame the 30cal ASR brake has a .375" I.D. where as my lantac dragon ASR 30 cal has a much smaller I.D. All my brakes are ASR, even an AR-9. Great product, just slightly unsatisfied with the 30 cal brake.

The IWb option I found that provides greatest level of "invisible" comfort is where the unit had the greatest depth of set below the belt line. Designs of most Kydex versions and many others configurations I found just don't sit deep enough. However Deanna and her team at relentless tactical have a leather holster for the 856/605 snubby variations that works really well and provides that almost undetectable IWb ride, your mieage may vary. I know first hand how much $ enthusiasts can spend in search of the right holster to fit our exact body type, and I wish I had tried relentless' option first.
