- Taking a look at what I think is the best appendix carry rig out right now: The Mckinatec Flex Rig for the Springfield Hellcat we got from Brownells.
*For manual reviewer: This video was filmed in a controlled environment specifically for firearm reviews. All firearms shown are verified unloaded at all times. The parts discussed in this video do not affect the internal function of the weapon, they are external changes only. *

I’ve ordered one for my new Springfield Echelon. Can’t wait to try it out. 4 to six weeks out still waiting. It looks it really strong from your videos. Waiting one from also Custom Holster S. Both are Sidecar for my Springfield’s. Basically I’m trying out sidecar holster for the first time.
One I tried this setup, I never looked back. I have one for basically every carry gun, it's worth the wait. Thanks for watching!
Carrying "tucked" I can't use those 'billboard' clips! The Discreet Carry Clips would eliminate that though. Great review as always.
I'll admit I've never carried tucked but I can definitely see how they'd call some attention to the rig. Thanks for watching!
Got the same set up. How is the holster for the hellcat ? Is it wide or is it a small package? Looking for somthing that is comfortable to wear. Trying to find somthing to meet both my needs seems hard to find.
It's wide kinda by necessity. There needs to be room for the claw/wing, the elastic cord, and the carrier. I have a 32 inch waist and it sits between my hip bones. A kydex appendix rig will never be truly comfortable but Ive worn this rig for almost 18 hours straight and it's been fine. If you're looking at appendix rigs I definitely recommend something that flexes in the middle. Thanks for watching!
Have the same set up as you. Don't see the tl6 offered for the hellcat. Only glock and sheild ?
They're kinda hard to find. You're looking for Streamlight part #69287. Direct link on the blog links page. Thanks for watching!
