I saw this and your other video after the game. Immediately I was thinking Bells palsy. My brother has this as a teenager and it was shocking to say the least. Prayers for Joel and his health. Eventually it's time to retire. You have enough money and opportunity to live peacefully and lower the chances of serious medical issues. When you look at the life span of people that size it's unfortunately much shorter than smaller ppl. He's had a lot of medical issues in his young age and his longevity should be more important than anything else

Most likely the left side facial nerve is damaged to due to the blunt trauma from getting hit in the face. The Facial nerve (CN7) branches into 5 smaller nerves that innervate the muscles in the face. He could've had an isolated trauma to the zygomatic and/or frontal branches of the facial nerve from the hit you see in the clip just prior. This is generally temporary. It's not a problem in the Trigeminal Nerve (CN5) because EVEN if the left CN5 was damaged the left eyelid should be able to blink due to the normal sensation from the right side of the cornea causing both sides to blink. Therefore this presentation is an isolated CN7 palsy from the blunt trauma.
