Hi Tiffany, why did you put the glue also on the top of the foil? Isn't it enough to put it just undernith? What does the second layer do?🤔
I ask myself the same, I do it to make sure that the seams are glued down where it overlaps because I can be rough with the catalyst wedge.

What is the name and of the man gel medium you used to paste the paper with?
It's called gel medium, liquitex and other brands make a version. I prefer the gloss, but you can buy it in matt finish too.
I absolutely love your stuff!!! You're so fun, and I love your free spirit when it comes to creating art. I believe art should be about expression. I am new to all of this. I only started painting a few weeks ago but watching you is helping me tremendously. Most of the artists just paint to music and don't explain what they're doing. Thank you for explaining what you're doing and thinking as you go. Thank you for explaining what some of these products do, and what you're using them for. I do have more questions about the "dirty water". What is that again? I love how it adds suddle depth. This piece with the circle is great! Loveeee it!!!!
You can make dirty water 2 ways, either put a drop of paint in water to colour it or the water you use to clean your brushes .... both work!

*who knew* you don't even need a cell activator to make blooms... you just need to know a miniscule amount about pigment densities, and something called the Rayleigh-Taylor Instability phenomenon. It's actually a lot simpler than you might think. It might actually require that you Google something for yourself, though. So. Most people don't know about it.
I do know, there is a lot of information and you tube videos about Rayleigh-Taylor . The first video I ever watch was Chase Fluid Art . However consistency is tough for a lot of people, including myself, floetrol is a nice hack as it's very forgiving.

Nice job, I love the textured result and final image. Does the glue prevent the foil from ripping apart?
Now you have me questioning why I use the glue other than to make sure that the foil sticks to the canvas and if there are seams do to using multiple pieces. 🤔 once you've got the first layer of acrylic paint, it's a pretty strong surface to work on.
This first stuff you’re using is tyvek-what the postal service and other companies make those soft mailing envelopes from.(way cheaper or free if you save those)
