- Today I'm exploring some Urban Decay, a little bit of Grunge using Viva Magenta Pantone Colour of the Year for 2023!

I've been racking my brain for weeks trying to figure out how I want to do this. So many thoughts in my head and then everytime I grab a canvas some obstacle pops in my head and I can't work it out in my mind. But I will get there!!!

Me 2, the milk frother was a last minute decision. I was looking for something to make circles and thought ..... why not 😉
When you work on abstract paintings, it's as if you're in an active meditation, I feel your enthusiasm and somewhere in the back always the question: how would it be...?
I'm not a MAGENTA lover, but you created a painting full of vigor and boldness. 🤩
I wasn't a magenta fan either, yet suddenly I'm gravitating towards it ... have no idea as to why! And you are right, I could never talk while I'm painting it is meditative ... not only would this video be 6 hrs ... but it would be distracting and not intuitive.

I guess I’m trying to analyze the painting but I see hope above the decay. At least that’s my interpretation! Why am I thinking so much on a Saturday morning…? Anyway I like how you go out of your way to create something new and different. It’s thought provoking and I love it. 💕💕💕

really a nice piece! I have been watching of couple artist who do that urban decay style and really didn't understand the movement but like the stuff! brave on!
I'm not sure I understand Pam .... do you mean the Decay style as an art movement? Or something else? If you mean as an art movement I don't get it much either, I like it but I want to incorporate into something I would actually hang in my home. This one is going to little girl named Mila. It's a sofisticated art piece and not childish but pink, so hopefully it can be something she can appreciate her entire life because it could hang anywhere. If I didn't understand the comment, let me know 😉

Yeah, I don't get it either and you're right it appears to be bigger over here amd it could be influenced by the architecture. Whatever it is though I find it really fascinating while I try to figure it out 😉
