Welcome! Hi, I’m Andrea, and I’m so excited to share my knowledge of all things Barre, Movement, Nutrition and Wellness with you.
My youtube channel is your new home for Barre workouts as well as all the other things I'm passionate about: Yoga, learning how to teach barre, health movement, mindset and nutrition.
A little about me: I have been an Osteopath for over 20 years, and am also a Naturopath and Nutritionist. I trained in classical ballet since the age of 3. I danced professionally for 12 years, including at the Moulin Rouge (Paris), Son Amar (Spain) and in TV, stage and film work in Australia. I’ve teach regular barre classes, and as well, have trained over 100 people all over the world how to be amazing barre instructors.
I run many online programs including Mindset/Movement/Nutrition for women aged over 35, and a program which teaches others to become amazing Barre instructors. I also have an app - the Barre Clinic TV.

This 50 minute CZcams Barre Workout is an intermediate level class.
I take inspiration from some dance moves from when I was 16, dancing to Prince's Cream. I even taught this class lesson plan in my studio as a Prince Tribute Class on the anniversary of his passing. How amazing was Prince's music!!!!
The only equipment you will need for this class is a set of light weights and a yoga mat! It's perfect to do from home!

Can we do these exercises if we have lumbar osteoporosis?
Hello, I wouldn't do these exercises without approval from your doctor. They are quite strong, and if your osteoporosis is quite bad, they could cause you more harm than good. Perhaps start with some gentle hatha or restorative yoga poses instead. Andrea x

I do 5 Tibetan rites 5years now. I split the 21 repetitions in 3 rounds of 7 repetitions, for daily use. It's ok to do this?
Well done on 5 years of practice! And yes, you can do whatever works best for you! There is no right or wrong, as long as you are safe and looking after your body! Andrea :)

I just found your videos and let me tell you!!!! First I thought, 10 mins!? I need more time but I went ahead and tried this one as I am a beginner and I almost died. My leg cramped right after the barre workout. Will definitely be coming back for your other videos!

Yes, I agree with you. This was one of the first videos I ever made, and there was very little choice for Royalty Free music suitable for Barre AND CZcams 3 years ago. There are some great music options available now, AND I've now learnt how to create great audio, so feel free to try some of my more recent videos...I'm sure you will love them. Thank you Andrea for The 5 Tibetan Rites video! It is just like the movements we did when I practiced in person with a group. It’s been a long time since then (it was held in Decatur, Georgia, USA and I moved to Mexico in 2017. With 2 full time jobs i rarely have a moment to practice, now that is low season on the island (Cozumel) and my other job, as an SLP working remotely for school districts in the USA, I have committed myself to practice every day. And wow! What a difference! I am 70 years old now, in very good shape, but these exercises have made me stronger (some of my muscles were a bit sore for the first two sessions)..the soreness is gone and better yet, my bowels are in much better shape! ❤
