North Africans Speak Berber( Tamazight) there is an estimated number of at least 25 Million speakers. I would not say Derija is a colonial language, it is the evolution of mixing up loan words from different languages using an Amazigh sentence structure. It would have been colonial if someone has brought it but it developed cuz of the mix of other languages over the years.

Pan Africanism and pro-black American nationalists especially the Nation of Islam & “Moorish” Americans is just as equally to blame for trying to erase the Amazigh identity. Their ideology is essentially just a Niger Congo supremacist movement. For some reason, they seem to think they're the only kind of African people that exist. They also all seem to have a special hatred for HOA people (especially Somalis) for some reason ……..😒😒 Black Panther was supposed to be “Pan African”, but they didn't represent Cushites, Berbers, or Khoisans at all, just madows (Niger Congo and Nilotic) BBBUUUTTT, black people come in all colors, religions, shapes, and use some archaic hillbilly barbarian law for a hundred years ago to claim some rando nobody minor German noble as black because her great-great-great-great grandmother’s second cousin was a “ Moorish “ princess 👸

Whether they lived in Amsterdam and Copenhagen and weren't jewish/christian like my ancestors or whether they lived in north Africa and weren't Muslim. This discrimination against the ancient lineages happens everywhere. Same with Hindus, Mongolians, Chinese. All ancient people's.

@@jamalbenhamou you do realize that many black amazigh exist in Algeria, Libya, Egypt Tunisia, Morocco and etc. It’s funny how you imply that many Moroccans are Arabized culturally when that’s somewhat true as well but I’d argue white Berbers are mainly berberized and a result of admixture with some who’s ancestors came from the Barbary pirate slave trade which enslaved MILLIONS of white people. Also realize that Berbers are believed to originate deeper within the Sahara and I can tell you that I’ve never seen a white, pale skinned Berber in the Sahara so you mean to tell me all along that white Berbers were living in the Sahara but yet now a days with a plethora of Berbers STILL in the Sahara but rarely do you find a white one …🤔. You should look at descriptions of ancient Berbers with some mentioning that the Berbers looked like ancient Egyptians (wooly hair and swarthy) and resembling the “Aethiopians”. If you want to use dna, it’s said that e1b1b which is the Y haplogroup and attributed to North Africans originated in the Horn of Africa which is east Africa today along with e1b1b and e1b1b is actually related to e1b1b and the latter is found In places like Senegal and other part of Africa so you mean to tell me that Berbers are related to this people but yet are white and they came out very dark with different phenotype ? 🤔. Also the gnawa are a minority in Morocco and the haratin were actually southern Moroccans who were from the Berber group but among the original Berbers and not the ones who mixed like in the more northern regions and this is as far as the strongest evidence goes in terms of their identity that I know. You can’t say it’s because of slavery that most Berbers in southern Morocco, Mauritania and other parts of Morocco are black because enslaving people wouldn’t usually replace or cause a huge demographic where it outnumbers the population. Keep in mind there is a lot of black Berbers in other locations of North Africa, you can’t use slavery for that as well. Also I recommend you look into the Berbers of siwa, Egypt and see how it’s a isolated community but yet many of them aren’t white and some are black even.

My whole point is Most Moroccans are Amazigh wether you like it or not and those who pretend to be Arabs are just arabized, bring me one person who can trace their family to Saudi Arabia? you can't what you will find is someone making such claims and maybe his great great great great great great grandpa was Arab but he melted in the Amazigh DNA. You know that it was mainly soldiers it wasn't families that moved to North Africa, so those invading men or men who were brought up melted in the Amazigh DNA...unless you think that families composed of husbands and wives rode a camel for 6 months in the heat to make it to Morocco which is silly and frankly stupid. take care

You seriously need to use some simple critical thinking and you can answer this yourself. are you imagining that the few Arabs who came to Morocco for example remained in a bubble isolated and kept intermarrying amongst themselves? the few Arabs that came here melted in the Amazigh majority hundreds of years ago. you will not find any Moroccans who have 100% Middle Eastern DNA, not even 50% not even 20% those claim Arab ancestry end up finding that they only have less than 7% Middle Eastern DNA. please think before you make another comment, if you say again that "many Moroccans are Arab" that means those minority Arabs were isolated and never intermarried with the local Amazigh which impossible and stupid as well. We can not talk about "mixed" either, to say someone is mixed would mean someone who came from Morocco and some one who came from Arabia a generation ago not 900 years ago....simple math.

Arabs today in the world are a Minority, are you aware that the Arabs only make up less than 20% of total Muslim population and here you come acting like Arabia was full of Arabs, the number of Arabs was and is still very small even in Arabia today...just go look at the population of Arab countries in the Arabian peninsula, you somehow want to say that they replaced the Amazigh people. I am From the South, I am not brown, I am telling you that the South was a strong hold for slavery, you also have people from Mali, Senegal and Mauritania who are darker and moved to Morocco.I am talking about Morocco only, The Amazigh of Morocco that are darker got intermarried with subsaharan. I know someone who is married to an Amazigh and he is very dark, this guy is from Tata and spoke Tamazight all his life and his parents spoke Tamazight.. and he did a DNSA test he found out that he is 23% from senegal about 10% niger and the rest is Amazigh and that's the case for many, . @@jamalbenhamou where is your evidence that the south of Morocco was very involved in slave trade ? Also dna tests are not a good way to identify what you are ethnically because North African dna is a group of collected dna over time where a new dna name has been created such as “North African” or “Native American” despite some of these people from different regions and migration patterns. Ive studied dna and dna tests are not what you should use to prove your point. Also if you do want to go through the dna route, It says amazigh people originated in the horn of africa like many other Africans from regions like Senegal , Somalia etc so even that doesn’t help your arguement. I also didnt say Arabs replaced all amazigh and I didn’t say that most North Africans are Arab however there is a significant Arab influence In North Africa culturally and ethnically which shouldn’t be ignored.
