  • The first Documentary in English about the Amazigh people as they see themselves. There are many videos about the Amazigh people but they usually project their stereotypes and opinions about the Amazigh people which makes their stories a bit in accurate. Enjoy

    Thank you so much for this precious documentary ❤️ Your channel is a hidden gem ; as a Tunisian that was raised as "Arab" and finding out that North Africans being arab is a big fat lie and that the arab identity was created by the British and the French in order to dismantle the Ottoman Empire and this is how many of us maghrebis ended up self identify as arab when in reality we are just arabised amazigh. A lot of North Africans are going to have an identity crisis now thanks to dna testing we're finding out that we have 0% arab blood but majority Amazigh blood with some minor admixture of Southern European. Love learning about Amazigh history something that we're never taught in Tunisia because of a panarabist regime.

    Our Beautiful Continent suffer so much from Colonialism, occupation of our beautiful Continent, all African in West, North, South, East, all have identity problems, the Colonialism and occupation of the Continent had wounded the Soul of African People. The crisis of identity is so deep, In the Continent. More and more of new generation of African a beginning to wake up from slumber of illusion of Colonialism. When arrived in Holland, in 1993, I saw how African were subjected to discrimination, denial of justice. From then I began to search for History and greatness of African People and our beautiful Continent.

      I always enjoy your program about Tamazeigh People, how your reprogram your People, and your amazing homeland and our diverse Continent. Morocco National Team displays in Qatar, bring a lot of emotional issues, about where Morocco belong, there was a lot of debate in Social media, about many negative comments, more especially from our People with limited exposure and understanding the History of North Africa, this division was Contributed to Western Media and Media from Arab World. Many of comments, about why People want to denied the existence of Tamazeigh People, in their homeland? Why Arab countries want Erase the History of this Noble and great People of this part of African Continent? Our People must not mixed identity with Religion, identity was there long, before coming of Religion. I always enjoy your, CZcams channel about, how you take questions of identity

  • @Amgrabi
    @Amgrabi Před 2 lety +1

    Marokko is gesticht door imazighen.
    Marokko is een islamitische Amazigh land die toevallig een Arabische koning heeft die via zijn moeder, oma en overgrootmoeder enz imazighen DNA heeft. De zogenaamde Arabieren die neerkijken op Imazighen zijn zelf gearabiseerd imazighen. Maar als je kijkt naar hun cultuur en keuken dan zie je dat ze nog steeds imazighen zijn. Zelf hun Arabische taal is zwaar gemixt met imazighen woorden.

    To compare with America.
    Berbers are treated by Arabs sorta how Blacks and Native Americans are treated by whites.
    If you can compare America to Maghreb
    I like the comparison

    • @jamalbenhamou
      @jamalbenhamou  Před 2 lety +2

      No no no, you can't make that comparison. For one Most if not all North Africans are (berbers) Amazigh. and no they are not treated like blacks by others who self identify as Arabs...the Amazigh struggle is mostly connected to the regime, no (Berber) Amazigh is subject to police brutality for their ethnicity or discrimination by other North Africans, the oppression is different however people are one.
