The best way however is to never engage with them because doing so means we take them seriously which I don't. Accepting to debate with them means I see their stance as equal and thus debatable and i can grant them that privilege.
You're good in this. Keep repeating it that Darija is not Arabic and should not be labelled as such.
darija is a clutter language thats why a lot of moroccans learn arabic but still good video much ❤️for the maghreb
I believe that the Amazighs, and especially the Amazigh rulers, presented the Arab origin of the Amazighs for political reasons, especially after the expulsion of the Arabs in the so-called "Battle of the Nobles/غزوة الاشراف". Although the Amazighs converted to Islam, they were constantly threatened by the Arabs to be reconquered because they were not Arabs. The Amazigh rulers came up with something like this: if Islam is not enough to leave us alone, then we are Arabs!
If Arabic is a mixture of French, Amazigh and Spanish...than Darija is Arabic :)........My comment is meant to be sarcastic ... it's really bizarre that I have to mention this. SARCASM!!!!!!!!

Of course Darija is not Arabic. Only wannabe arabs (genetically imazighen) believe that Darija is Arabic. I was sarcastic!!!! I have much love for my Amazigh brothers and sisters but yall need to understand sarcasm.
