so fun and lovely
Absolutely stunning cape, I would love to attempt to make one of similar design though I need to get more experience sewing, I also loved the talks about this book and autism in the video :) it's nice to hear about it, being autistic myself, and I love that you included resources on the matter<3
I wear only cotton next to my skin, all year-round. Denim and corduroy in the winter. I went to Saks Off-Fifth, the outlet of Saks, last week to find shorts, and all the women's shorts were polyester. I ended up with a pair of men's cotton shorts.
7:00 about women warriors--In a Viking grave, a women has been found surrounded by her weapons, the same as the men in nearby graves.
I have a T-shirt from Egypt, made of Egyptian cotton. It feels like silk.
She's charming and engaging. Love the video.
Hello darlinâ. Just fine.
The sound I mean.
My experience may be slightly off the mark, yet still in the same area as your topic here. I recently 'suspended' my relationship with a sibling of mine because my sibling prefers to not hear about the sexual abuse that happened long ago within our family. It is not that i bring it up over nd over, it's that i will not be silenced ever again about sexual abuse. However, my sibling is very dismissive around this subject nd so i felt the need to distance myself from this type of negativeness. When i spoke with my sibling to explain my reasoning i realized that my sibling has the right to not be reminded of horrible events nd that i may very well be just as negative to my sibling as my sibling is to me in this aspect. I do try to see perspectives from all sides, but this very idea had not occurred to be beforehand. I love my sibling, nd maybe one day we can reconnect. My takeaway from your topic here is that not everyone is equipped to be an ear for others. It is important to find your people for the betterment of one's overall health. I am glad that you are one such 'ear', Kristine. Thank you. I for one appreciate your existence.
How cute!!! Love the yarn
Thanks so much for leaving this up. It's so soothing and inspiring to watch Plugging in may have brightened the stream, but so subtle I could not tell (much )
Soot! You are cute!
In my own experience, I shared traumatic life events that involved physical abuse with a trusted friend. This person turned out to be a âfair weatherâ friend in that she told me to forgive my abuser. It was made clear to me that ppl who tell traumatized ppl to forgive abusers are themselves uncomfortable hearing about the topic. Itâs their polite way of telling the traumatized person to shut up and move on to the next topic.
I have learned in my experiences with these types of people to simply sever ties. It was not worth my sanity nd overall growth to allow those people in my world.
This looks amazing!
Well said
That's so pretty.
Oh my heart. I can't. Madam Soot is just too Kyuteâą
