Ok. Now that I’m off work I finished watching. Firstly, I love the openness and open minded conversation that happens here. You can have faith in something you don’t believe in and believe in something you don’t have faith in. The one thing I see a lot of now a days, is Christianity seems to be more devoted to the Bible and its word, than the author. My feelings as far as the relationship with God is it’s personal, just like a regular relationship. Nobody can put that under a microscope to judge. The bible is suppose to be a living word, so one scripture will mean something different to me, as it does for you. I was raised Christian, but no longer believe in that lifestyle. I do however, believe in God as the Father,Son,and Holy Spirit. I chose to pick up my own cross and have a closer walk with God. This is what I needed and what I felt was lead to do. Choosing to believe in your partner, parents, and friends is the exact same way, in the sense of it’s a personal choice at the end of the day and it bears no weight on anyone else, but you! In your physical relationship you change to form a unit as now you are not the only one with feelings, dreams, and aspirations. I also feel like we have become a world of we must see it to believe, instead of believing till you see it. Which is fine if that’s you, but even in the reality of it all, or a pragmatic approach if you will, life is like a river. You will never step into the same river twice, because it’s always moving forward. You can plant your feet all day long “go through the motion” and sure, maybe you can stay afloat for a while, but eventually you will get tired and that water won’t stop flowing. So what happens next? You drown. Since when have we not been able to question God by the way? That statement makes no sense to me, whatsoever! If we do not understand, we must seek it, otherwise we continue to remain ignorant. Also, the fact that we have so many lost on God is because of this ignorance. Jesus was out in the world and helped who he could, this should be us as well. Revelations speaks on how he won’t come until he is known by everyone. You cannot be a witness if you don’t even know what you’re witnessing. To me though religion is man made and man is faulty. I do think however, taking the word as gold with no questions and following it or trying to push what you think it means, is not only creating a false idol, but manifesting and bearing witness to it as well. I do tarot readings and wellness coaching and get ridiculed and damned for it all the time. I’ve been called a witch, I do witchcraft, I’m of the devil. To which I reply is this, I guess at the end of the day some of have to be the jobs and Elijah’s, while some gonna be Judas. 🤷🏽‍♀️

for the longest time I questioned God, existence, religion and what I’ve come to terms with, was I realized through all of that, I was questioning people. It’s hard to break free from limiting beliefs, conditioning and the ideal of society. There’s so many things I have to say here, but not enough time to say it 😂 so let me leave you with this, while there are so many “right now’s” and why it’s so important, is because the right now is what creates your past, but also constructs your future. Even the Bible speaks on us being connected on a cosmic level. When Jesus says when you do this to the least of these, you do this unto me. He also speaks about going into his father. I believe heaven and hell are for sure another dimension that is a higher level of consciousness. If we are all cosmically connected and made of the earth and in His image then essentially we are all one and the same including God and the Devil. Also would make sense why out of all these things love is the most important, because hurting you is hurting me. Many blessings 💚

I know I’m several years late but this is the thing I love about dax so much, he’s very open with his struggles and in this song you can really see him fighting with God and with his faith but now, several years later, his songs have changed drastically, first it was dear alcohol where he talked about giving up drinking and now his songs praise God for helping him through his rough times even if he didn’t see it at the time. It seems like he’s put his journey into his songs and we can see when he was having trouble and how he got through it

I been suicidal for the last 4 to 5 years. Not happy about it at all. It is what it is though. I tried to drink myself to death a few times. I have a son that I will kill anything for. But I know how people might answer right now. Which is understandable. The mental battle sucks

Dude literally described why people dont believe. Its faith, which by definition is believing something despite there being no evidence to support it. And then turns around and says if you do just believe it without questioning it, your thoughts will change, and its not brainwashing. Lmao thats exactly what brainwashing is. While im making this argument i do also believe he is a genuine soul, hes trying to be understanding of things that question his beliefs without dismissing then as nonsense.
