Great video. I too am a Christian. I was a missionary. I knew what it was like to find a woman sobbing at a garbage dumpster hoping for food because she didn’t have anything to feed her children. I brought her to my home, gave her food and gave instructions that if she came to my home looking for food give her some. There was a time when I gave a little girl a wrapped up doll for her birthday. She was four. She very carefully opened the gift and then then rewrapped it. There was another time when I was cooking dinner. The Bible institute was in our basement. I guy came who was one of the students. He had a box. He was so excited! The box contained shoes. I found out that someone had told him that if he would do a certain job for several weeks he would be given money for shoes. I will never forget the look on his face as he put on his first pair of shoes at the age of 18. There was another gal that was a Bolivian gal. She had absolutely nothing but was such a joy to be around. We had stopped at her house for something. It was such a special event but they eating pork chops. She wanted me to have some of her. It absolutely broke my heart to take it but she would have been heartbroken if I hadn’t. She was such a joy even though she had had 11 children and 6 had died of various things. I went to the mission field to teach. I was always the one receiving a vast education

We took a road trip to Burke’s Garden 7-5-24. My mother graduated from high school at Burke’s Garden in the 1930’s. She lived in Saltville Va at the time so she lived with a family while she attended school. This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Thank you for sharing this video. BTW when my mother was still with us she and my dad and I attended a class reunion there at the Methodist Church back in the 1970s.

Ok video I guess . I worked in Keystone . Only thing about your video is Mr. McConnel did not have a mansion anywhere close to Keystone . He live below Bluefield Regional Hospital in a small brick home . One thing you need to make a video about is why all these companies now that have mines open , have the majority of worker from out of the county and even out of the state . They use the people on drugs excuse all the time but there are a lot of people here who need these jobs and are not on drugs but can’t get a job because of the companies hiring through contractors . People come here to work from Kentucky , Viginia , Ohio , and as far north as from Morgantown WV . If they come here to work and drive hours , they must be making good money . The people here should have first chance at these jobs or the people coming here should move here . If it is to bad for them to move here , don’t come here to make your money . Make it where they live since it is so great where ever they live . Again not everyone around here is on drugs or anything like that but need these jobs . Just drive around from mines to mines and look at the tags on the vehicles . You will start to understand what I am saying .

hollow (geography) A small valley between mountains. | It's called a hollow because of the mountain-sides that create the hollow shape-but imagine what you would call the same collection of houses if the land was flat? In England, the word that we use to cover all geographies is hamlet. When the hamlet becomes sizable, we call it a village.
