- A Plum Good Time At Plumb Alley Day In Abingdon, Virginia
Plumb Alley Day has been a tradition in Abingdon, Virginia for 42 years. In the heart of the town’s historic district, Plumb Alley is the shaded picturesque alley that runs between Main and Valley Streets. The Day features food, music, a dance performance, children’s activities, and a massive yard sale sponsored by the Kiwanis Club. All proceeds from the event go to local kid's groups. We had a blast and hope you enjoy checking it out in this video.
Great show you two. Hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day.
Thank you so much, hope you’re having a great one too

By coincidence I just finished some beans and homemade corn bread!
Thanks for returning to one of my favorite towns. I had a great customer there who was a friend for many years. I never stayed at the Martha Washington Inn, but did enjoy a beer in the bar there one summer afternoon.
Always good to see y'all! Enjoy the holiday weekend!
Thank you so much, and hope you’re having a great weekend too. The Martha Washington Inn is great but we’ve only been for events too, haven’t had a chance to stay yet

Yes! We are working on that test right now lol
Oh, that looks like so much fun. I absolutely love the cabin and the ladies and gentleman dressed like those of the 17th century. I need to make a correction in a comment I made in your last video. Boone was not born in Tennessee, but PA although NC claims him too. I already knew where he was born, but I believe it was the way I stated it in my comment. Thank you for this really delightful look at a special day in Abingdon. Happy Memorial Day sweet people. Be safe.
Thank you so much, we had a great day today. Hope you’re having a great Memorial Day weekend too
Interesting. Thanks for sharing. We have two big festivals coming up in South Jersey in June. On the 8th and 9th the local Indian tribe, the Naticoke Lenni-Lenape are having their 43rd annual Pow-wow at the Salem County Fairgrounds. I haven't been to that one yet. Then there's the Red, White and Blueberry Festival on the 30th in Hammonton.
It’s a fun time of year
Abbingdon is a pretty and historic town. I would have gotten one of those waking sticks.
Yes it’s a great place to spend a few days
Almost forgot the Tavern, have you eaten there? Very good food!
Oh yes! We went there to celebrate finishing up our book last year
I love that city a lot! Festivals like these are real Americana!! Nice video!
Yes! Thank you! It really is a taste of what life is like in a small town
The star spangled banner brings tears to my eyes almost every time. Thanks for another interesting video my friends.
Glad you enjoyed it, there’s definitely something moving and special about that song
Did you post this video once before? Either way awesome video thumbs up.
No we videoed this one today. We did one of the Highlands Festival in Abingdon before and it is a little bit similar of a setup
I’ll have to watch for this next year. You were lucky the storms hadn’t hit yet.
It looks like it was plum up your alley...
