Here are two facts you could add. 1. in the tv show adaptation of "Edward and Gordon" even though Thomas and James are at the sheds they still say "they were all bigger than Edward and boasted about it" even though Thomas is smaller than Edward and James is about the size as Edward, this is because Thomas and James were filling in for the roles of 98462 and 87546 aka Alfred and Crovan, since they hadn't made props for neither Alfred nor Crovan they just used Thomas and James to fill those roles. 2 In Blue Mountain Mystery, Fearless Freddie and Duncan were going to appear in the movie but when the crew scaled out the real-life bases of the engines, Freddie and Duncan were deemed "too big"

Duck for me is that guy next door. He's the one with the most nnormal life of the friendgroup, is the most mature, and knows what kind of engine he wants to be....basically he's what you would call a "control" in science, just an average dude vibing and his adventures come from him just trying to live his life and someting interupts him. I always loved this era, despite not growing up with it. Great model work (even tho most of the time is just green countryside with nothing else), underrated music (and in some occasions; better than Mike & Junior), the new characters has some cool basis. I understand that some may not have much of a personality, but I just can't help but love them. Some older characters were handled better than the Classic and Brenner eras. Narration-wise: Michael Angelis was... okay. I don't like it but I don't hate it either. He does have his moments at times. Michael Brandon, on the other hand, is pretty overhated for me. Some of his voices aren't really that great like Skarloey and Rheneas but most of the time he did the lines better than Angelis. Overall, this era is very underrated. It has its flaws but I don't think it deserves that much hate as it usually gets by everyone else. It's much better than the Nitrogen and BWBA eras.

I don't like this Thomas movie. Why? Because it's freaky. Percy runs away from Sir Topham Hatt and tries to go out of Sodor to the mainland, James was being very troublesome, and there were some very serious arguments. Remember, it's my opinion.

Although short-lived and technically still part of the Classic series, I kind of wish the Gullane Era had lasted a few more seasons. While not exactly God-tier compared to the Golden Age, it had a certain charm to it and wasn't heavily tainted with the flaws of the later HiT Seasons. Not to mention it had, on average, the best roster of newbies.

I feel like the "lookout for the train" could could possibly be a workman or signal man saying to look out for the train.

I agree with you and Cinders & Ashes UK; by the time Season 5 comes along, many of the main characters are in a very different place to where they were in Season 1. For example, Thomas and Percy loved goofing around and playing practical jokes on those around them in Season 1, which often got them into trouble. However, by Season 5, although they're still cheeky and have the occasional argument (e.g., when 1 of them is already in a bad mood), it's clear that they've grown up significantly and are ready to race into action at a moment's notice. As such, as far as the Classic era's concerned, Horrid Lorry is an uderrated gem and I would seriously recommend that other potential fans check it out.
