    Thank you for s good video. Would you also say it its optimized for Aeropress? Im making filter style (light roast) coffe on my Aeropress most of the time. Not the «espresso» style.

    Go finer for darker roast? Isn't it the other way around? You're gonna get so much bitterness going fine with darker roasts. And if you go coarse with light roasts, you won't extract much flavours at all.

    Nice video! I also have these cafec light roast filters and combined them with the zp6 and a Kono dripper. However, my brews extended over 5 min and tasted a bit muted and bitter. I'm curious which grind size you used on the zp6 with the Kono. Did you go even coarser than 56 or would you recommend to go for smaller brews (e.g., 12-15 g)?

    • @wideawakeph3662
      @wideawakeph3662 Před 10 dny

      I think the Kono + cafec light roast filters don't make for a great combo. I've tried this combination as well and the brews just don't taste balanced, imo. Imo, the light roast filter papers must be paired with a brewer with a fast flow rate such as a V60, Cafec flower, etc :)

    I use a compressed air in a can to clean those hard to reach areas of the chamber, I use a KinGrinder K6 coz its affordable and it practically does and produce the same grind and its all adjustable and can fine tune your grind to your liking but without the cost that M47 cost is not a joke to most of us Filipinos

    I agree with what you said. Love the Chihiro so much. In fact, I rarely use my V60 drippers anymore as well as the Kalita (exception: when I want to brew bigger cups I would use Kalita). The result is very consistent. I even use it to 'test' when new beans come in.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Well rounded, balance, wider gamut of flavour (I use language of color / color gamut 😅) & tend to sweet. Even better than the previous edition like you said. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ My go to recipe is using two pours only, 50% each, or 60 & 40%, with 45" interval between them. Medium size grind, 90° temperature, very slow pour. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ I find the result is very consistent and I don't have to worry about changing grind size and/or temperature even with different types of bean. Really amazing.⁣ ⁣ Oh I would add another downside of Chihiro : plastic material. Previously I only use ceramic & glass drippers.

    I’ve had my flair for over a year now. I never noticed any burnt rubber smell. For those that have the SE profiler app and the accaia scale you can flow profile shots. I think that’s the banger there. Amazing shots. The heading element did break within 6 months and I got a replacement. So far no other major issues. The suggestions you make a good, but I imagine they are costly to implement while keeping the same price point. I imagine an upscale version with your suggestions. But at that one would have to really want bling 💍 over cost. Great review.

    There is a cost factor involved. I have two cups of coffee a day, 450ml, the minimum cost at a coffee shop £7.00. The equipment I have bought is about £618.00, so paid this off in about four months. I too went back to the coffee shop I used to frequent, and found the coffee weak and watery. Buy a percolator

    In Indonesia the suji is around 95k IDR and the b75 is double the price at around 180K-190K IDR, so I guess if it's priced like that you'd recommend to get the suji because it produce kinda similar coffee?
