    I bought the tsubame 185 from someone recently. I have only brewed with it a handful of times, and getting to know it, but it has a smell. Have you experienced that too? It especially comes around 1 min when brewing with it. It's a bit spicey, like…curry? Just wondering if this is normal, if it's the copper, or it's my dripper, something the previous owner did…;) maybe not a big deal ~ not really tasted it in the coffee, yet;)

    Kyle,
    Thanks for the great content!
    Tsubame Kalita Wave is definitely in my wishlist, a bit pricey thought.
    I also really liked your B75 review (have one) and I bought a ZP6 because of your videos :D
    Could you please someday do a metal V60 review with your go-to recipe?

      This is faster than the B75 in my experience! You can check out the B75 dripper review and see how we adjusted the recipe on the Tsub to give you a rough idea!

      I'd rather just clean it with water + baking soda! or water with coffee cleaning solution :)

    For the 50-50-50-50 recipe, how long are you usually pouring for? And for the first recipe, how long is the last 100ml pour?

    • @wideawakeph3662
      @wideawakeph3662  Před 11 měsíci +2

      for the 50ml pour, maybe within 8sec.
      for the last 100ml pour, do it within 10sec!

      @@wideawakeph3662 what are the time intervals you pour the 3 pours for the 50-50-100 recipe and 4 pours for the 50-50-50-50 recipe to reach the brew times of approx. 2min 15sec and 3min, respectively?
