Sitting in traffic 4 hours pissing in bushes 16k tickets sold to a venue that holds 12k sounds like shitfist 2024 to me

Shed fest! What went wrong and why from someone that walked 2.4 miles! We were all told not to arrive before 10.30! The show starts at 11.30. We were all told to use one single entrance! The what3words was 2.2 miles away from the actual entrance of the show! People were parking as soon as they enter, meaning people could only enter at the speed one person could park! Having people parking on 3 or 4 rows would of meant people could of entered 3 or 4 times faster No one walked down giving people an update! No one came down with bottles of water! No one came down with Water for the cars, this was called shed fest for a reason, cars breaking down with to be expected. No staff that ran the event left the entrance! So that had no idea that we was queueing back at the towns High Street, we where parked outside wild rose tattoo shop for over an hour and we parked up and walked, as it said it was only 0.2 miles to the what3words location, so it was only a 8 minute walk, we we’d of known it was going to be an hour walk we’d not of done it. Not one person thought to check social media! I find this incredibly hard to believe considering all of these people make their living through social media No one thought that cars might brake down! Considering it’s shed fest what was they expecting? Why didn’t they have a breakdown Team to help people? Why didn’t they have anyone to pull people out of the mud when they told everyone to park on grass after it had been raining two days prior? People were really stuck in cars were incredibly dirty. Petrol heads deserve all of the hate! And Alex should not work with them! Why didn’t Alexis Team read the instructions? if they had read the instructions that the event organiser gave they would’ve seen that it was a disaster waiting to happen! The fact they did not read that shows that they didn’t care. Getting everyone to enter the same entrance with never going to work, especially trying to get 10,000 people through one gate in an hour

Travelled an hour, got in within 10 minutes, van did a head gasket in the queue on the way out, had a great day, still made it home? But yeah I can't lie, I did hear some right horror stories of people who just failed entirely to get in. Sadly Mallory's surroundings aren't quite built for it.

Put it this way: its better to complain about a new annual event that is trying to give fans a good time than it is to have NO new annual events being put on.... you guys tried, and that alone is commendable 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

It’s one thing to say it’s not your job to do traffic management and all that, but your name is on the door. It is your responsibility.

As someone that didn't get in. We live 45 mins away and we were in the car for 5 hrs. Understand that it was not your fault. You can't control the fact there was an accident but as constructive criticism. 1. There were no updates on any socials that were promised. You should have known there was a problem well before 2pm. We were queuing from well before lunch. 2. The directions advised a single destination for parking but once the issue has arisen either the entrance should have been changed or communication should have gone out. 3. The number of people 11k would have been amazing but the location. Coming from the area. Can't handle that kind of flow or size. It felt in hindsight about the organizers (not you guys) pushing ticket sales.

Dunsfold next year?

I've been around the race paddock for years - Mallory was never, ever going to work. How the staff at Mallory thought it would be OK is beyond me - I'd say they were negligent to claim over 12k could get in there. How do they not know how shit Mallory is for getting into the track? It's got 2 tiny single track entrances that merge together to get into the car park. Even when there are 2000 or so people turning up for club racing it's a pain compared to Donington, Oulton, Snetterton, even Anglesey (which also has one single track road feeding it, which is one reason why BSB doesn't go there). Bunch of sausages, they should be footing the bill for refunding the tickets.

I remember talking to you at japfest 2023 as the show was winding down and I remember telling you that my mental health recovery was massively aided by all of the content you have produced, both with car throttle and now that you've gone your own way. I thoroughly enjoyed shedfest and I'm so sorry to hear of the issues many of the people faced in getting in. All I can say is to keep aiming higher and keep delivering the amazing work you are doing! Right show, wrong venue.

Might be a good idea to put on a bus service for the next one (park and ride) I have all relevant licenses and CPC wink wink nudge nudge. Would allow more people to get in and reduce traffic aswell as a different revenue source, keep up the great work guys 🙏

We had one big show last year in France, Merguez Tuning Show by a CZcams channel, Vilebrequin, (which has now split) with close to 50 000 people attending and it was just unbearable. The only thing you could get without waiting 2 hours was a sunburn … It was at Nevers Magny-Cours circuit and quite a traffic jam too ! I think that car enthusiasts show should be over several days with on site camping just like IMM’s so that it splits the incoming traffic over 2 days. Best of luck for the next one ❤

You should file a complaint with the police and insurance company, you bought the vehicle in good faith.

Even major events have disasters like this. Next year hold it at a bigger venue like Silverstone or Santa pod. Chin up and I am sure the community will forgive and forget.

It's almost like the UK roads are slowly turning into midwest roads in the states. People hogging the left lane, overtaking is only feasible on the very right lane, all kinds of speed on every lane, a pothole every 5 meters and cones around construction area with absolutely nobody working on it in forever. I believe they just deliberately try to mess us up by putting the cones down on Friday, spend the weekend chilling at home and forget about it on Monday

In France, the biggest automotive channel (vilebrequin) held a 50.000 people meet at a track that once held F1 races. Still, the highway was actually blocked because the queue was several miles long xD

I dumped the car in a nearby village then walked the rest of the way. Had a great time. Beautiful day for a walk, beautiful cars and people. I can’t imagine people getting this angry, shit happens!. Prepare for a journey, you won’t always make it. Make the most of it. Literally it’s 2024 and people don’t have the initiative to prepare basic things like bringing food/water and and empty bottle. All journeys (especially in a shitbox) should start with some basic prep in the event you don’t reach your destination.

It does seem that mallory cannot cope with an event of this size I know tge local roads faily well and they are really geared up for this amount of people Such a shame to have this shaddow cast on the event ,but lessons learned im sure

as somebody with a LMPEV, why the heck them walking the last 2 miles when we already invented el scooters and small electric bikes for EXACTLY that job...? Good lord, imagine being alive in 2024 and not bringing an el scooter to get about 🤣 I'd suggest everybody and their mama, even Rory, gets a little DYU el bike. To everyone who didn't make it in and are angered by this its key to remember; this was the second show, Alex and the team isn't to blame, the guests obviously aren't to blame, Ciro absolutely IS NOT TO BLAME, these things happen and they are unexpected or not intended. Yes there were horrible things that happened, everyone who made it in or didn't make it at all are sorry for what you went through - no one wants to go though that, but please be mindful that they are still people, and they are still doing their best to help with all of the issues you experienced. PS. Ciro, you absolutely are a legend, you're doing more personally to reach out and respond to people than the majority of large scale companies do to meet complaints of customers. You're doing great mate!

Promote an event but when it goes to shit claim it’s nothing to do with us

I got in with 2 mates, best day of the year! Seen the line ditched the car stopped in a local for a swift half & walked a mile into the venue Enjoyed one of THOSE BURGERS! with a beer Amazing day full of laughs, making brilliant memories! If people drove on the motorway as designed then in theory you should not be able to undertake. So undertaking is fine until driving standards improve!!

Mallory Park really isn't big enough for an event like that. But one thing the punters might not know is just how expensive it is to rent a race track. I've been involved on the organisation of rallies. Anglesey cost our motor club £8,000 for 1 day's hire. Oulton Park wanted £20,000 for one day's hire.

blame is solely on mallory park, Thier marshalls are a JOKE and one even argued with a mate of mine because he wasn't allowed to parked up on their correct club stand. Some people got in at 4 o'clock but the show realistically ended at 5 as people was leaving. Bring ShedFest back to the motor museum

Interesting omission of "refunds" when reading out your statement

Bloody hell lads. youtuber meet & greet goes wrong was like a 2014 youtube headline....should've managed expectations & gone over the top re the organisation especially given how much you plugged it. Bit like tryna fit 40 people into a 7 seater. Anyhow, think of it as a cull to preserve the wider herd/envroment. Better in the long run.

Starts the podcast with a half hearted apology pushing blame on the organisers they employed, too tired to read out his full apology off instagram then bounces around the sofa excitedly telling everyone how great the event was and how much merch they sold for an hour and a half.

I drove 9 hours from the top of Scotland and stayed in a hotel and I couldn’t get into shedfest. I understand it was not you’re fault and I really appreciate the apology. I will still follow and support your channel since I love the content so much. Hopefully one day I can get the chance to see you guys live and possibly have a meet and greet. I drove home really disappointed and tired but hopefully next year will be better. Keep up the amazing videos and keep making us smile and laugh.
