The 'All SF licence plates are Scottish Police cars' thing is a myth. A licence plate starting with S means it was registered in Scotland, if it's followed by the letters A though to J it was registered in Glasgow. Since police cars get registered in bulk together, this is why so many of them wind up on the same first 4 digits as they're being registered at the same place at the same time. Any other cars being registered at the same time though at that registration centre would also have gotten the same SF designation.

With all the love GT40 and Cobra kit cars get, I find myself wanting a Shelby Daytona Coupe kit car the most, just because it's a bit different, but every bit as awesome.

Saw a GT40 (assume it was a kit car) a couple of months ago just north of Cardiff in Gulf colours, sounding the part too. I wouldn't care less if it was a kit car, you'd feel so proud to be driving around in one of those, it looked stunning!

Cars sure have personalities, I've had 3 of the same car and each one had its nuances. Current one is sat on 224k miles. Alex you would love this high mileage hero as you say.
Cannot wait for the long roadtrip video, sounds excellent. So glad you started uploading the full podcasts, takes me a couple of lunchtimes to get through but it's literally the only podcast I listen to/watch.

I built an Exocet. I think it would make for a pretty funny series of videos - not just because the build is cheap and cheerful, but because you get to take turns filming each other having the miserable experience of driving one in the sunny, clear skied, totally-not-wet UK.

Or chuck the word "Podcast: " ahead of the main title so it's obvious what is a channel video upload and what is a podcast. Keep up the good work guys, all the praise to the team!

The Ford Coyote engine is used in the current gen Mustang. The 302 was used in the Fox body..
I've got a Foers Nomad going through Morris Leslie if you want a kit car. It looks like a baby Land Rover & as far as I know there's only 1 other one on the road just now so it's definitely unique.
Have you considered the Tribute Kobra? It looks like a cobra esq car with BMW Z3 underpinnings. You know how well that would get around the Nurb ! Very nice one on ebay at the moment being sold in Reading

Speak about the bwm 540i estate taylor. Sounds silly i had a saab 9-3 Hirsch 2.8v6 turbo had all the bells and whistles on it. I loved it ate fuel for fun. My wife made me sell it as it was costing alot to run. Biggest mistake i ever made. I loved it wish i could have it back. So never get rid of it trust me. It will be like selling the van but much worse as the time and effort you've put into it
One of the many Shelby Cobra kits cars would be cool.
I fancy doing one myself someday.

Hey guys. Absolutely love the podcast but one thing that i hope you do is put the images of what you see, like when you were looking at the GT40 kit car. Talking about kit cars. PLEASE do a GT40 vs Cobra challenge. Love your content.
I think it would be nice if you put pictures of whatever is being talked about. For example seat alhambra or the wheels you guys talked about that i couldnt even understand what wheels 😂 and while mentioning your cars by their names it would be nice to see a picture. I know it might be a faf but it would be way more fun to watch.
The X5 has MOT history ( paddy wagons don’t have MOTs) the reg brings up a freedom for info spreadsheet full of taxis but it’s 400 pages long I don’t love you guys enough to scroll through… ❤
Good thing you didn't, the X5 reg isn't even in it. Also someone messed up and posted the table twice so the spreadsheet should really be 239 pages instead of 477.

About GT40, have you seen the GT40 from "Benjamin Workshop" à French awsome dude, he puts a V8 from an old Audi S6, if I remenber it correctly, into his GT40.
This Guy created from scratch a replica. That is insanely good.

My grandad built a cobra replica from the ground up it had a 6.8L chevy 550bhp 180mph in something made of fiberglass is really quite scary
You should get a TV for when you pull up images so the audience can see as well

Top pop cast, can I please ask Taylor to do a vid about which BMW’s are a good buy, for example X5’s get a bad rep but are there good versions for the average person to get? Not just Big BHP M series versions but proper daily driver cars that simply work well. I ask as I love BMW but and need a 5 series estate or x5 as I have kids n two dogs lol

As much as I would like to see your guys do a kitcar I think you underestimate the amount of hours you need to put into one. Its alot more than just bolting finished parts together. I religiously put a minimum of 8 hours a week into it often way more + vacations etc and it still took me four years to build my project superfive which is alot less complicated than a GT40.
I would love to see some feature length episodes of your trips. Like 1hr+ that would be epic

Perhaps you could even get the kit without an engine so that the kit becomes cheaper. And then choose a V8 of your likings later.

Guys, have a look at Nigel Dean's V8CREATIVE series on youtube where he is building his own V8 Ultima RS - it will change your perception of " kit cars " as its a work of art and all built in his own garage

My dad purchased and built an ak sports car they do an ac cobra my dads was amazing. He had an ls2 in his it was rapid. Ak sports cars are really professional speak to Jon if u guys call he’s the owner

On another note you CAN trust most dealers because telling fibs to the general public just isn't worth the hassle!!! Most dealers will be absolutely upfront and honest about a cars history because usually the price represents its history and if your shopping at the bottom of the market expect to get a car worthy of the bottom the market. 18 years as a car dealer I can absolutely tell you that you get what you pay for, Taylor will testify to that. If its cheap its cheap for a reason, yes there are cars that appear cheap and you can find a diamond from time to time but on the whole if a car appears too cheap it will be too cheap for a reason. The same rule applies for dealers buying cars for stock, every so often you can buy a car cheaper than market value but the majority of the time if you buy a car cheap its for a reason, then said car is advertised cheap, again for a reason......
