why is a captain in command of 600 starship fleet lmao
Great selection of clips as usual. Please keep doing this! 🖖
They spent so much of the budget of FX they had to make the next three “bottle episodes”.
On a planet with a presumably earth-like atmosphere, why is part of the colonnade marked "Life Support"?
Riker be like "Lemme get some of that rock."
“Lieutenant…permission granted” One of the great scenes in all of STNG
Like living on top of a nuclear reactor
Time warp? AGAIN!?
Why is it no one can do solid space battles anymore... We had DS9 BSG and Star Wars in 90s and 00s. Then as tech got better the space battles got worse... Serenity, Rogue 1 and The expanse were the last good ones I remember.
Klingon Bridge Bunnies ❤!
The Brains
Weird how the Cardassian ship destroyed the bird of pray with one shot
“A lucky shot sir.”
Who is this „Will“ and why is everybody shooting at him?
The odd couple xD
I truly love those Klingon Birds of Prey Ships. Absolutely beautiful and elegant war machines!!
But they are destroyed so easily!
"Grant me a warrior's death" says the Klingon who just dispatched of his enemies through dishonorable tactics.
The Enterprise C is still my favorite Enterprise, followed by the sleek E. I think THAT should have been the TNG hero ship. I LOVE TNG but never liked the "squashed" oval Enterprise D hull.
Who won ?
Klingon photon torpedoes suck! They have less range than WW II unguided bombs. Seriously, did the director base the base attack scene on teh Pearl Harbor attack? They could have decloak and fired from orbit. A planet side base has terrible maneuverability to dodge photon torpedoes.
Birds of Prey are Close attack Ships. their weapons are meant to be used CLOSE. also the base defenses can shoot down torpedoes fired from high orbit. Vor'cha class ships might be able to launch enough but Negh'Var class ships would overwhelm it in seconds. but remember that wasn't the plan. the plan was to damage it and run. thus the class of ships they brought.
Yep, Captain Kirk did pretty good there?😮😂😂😂😂😊
In truth Sisqo should’ve sent a cloaked Carrier with Federation fighters and Danube Class shuttles with them. The Fighters would act as a diversion and the Danube as escape crafts.
Dying with the Cardashians
That was a hell of a catch from worf.
I see something..OOOPS.
Gaius Baltar using Tactics better suited for the Battlestar Galactica.
Just watched this on DVD? FOLLOWING ME?
To Manufactured Triumph!
martiok said several times lets GTFO here yet the helm starts listenign to the old guy???
The navigator was later fed to nargs in a public execution.
Old guy is Kor the Dahar Master! What Is A Klingon Dahar Master Explained. Dahar Master is a title reserved for the best Klingon warriors, the ones whose exploits and battles become the stuff of legends. Kor, Koloth, and Kang were all Dahar Masters, and all considered to be some of the most respected and legendary Klingon warriors. It's like a 5 star General Five men have held the rank of General of the Army (five star), George C. Marshall, Douglas MacArthur, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Omar Bradley, and Henry H. Arnold, who later became the only five-star general in the Air Force. , they are seen has bigger ranked and respected and ordered then anyone else when present and active. He his a Legend among legendary Warrior.
@@kimberlainodriscoll4781 Sure it's brutal, perhaps even a little unfair, but once that happens once or twice, it really causes everybody else to fall in line.
I love how Martok thinks he is coming up with a novel tactic, then Sisko goes and shows that while humans are peaceful now, they weren’t always. You can sort of see it in Martoks face.
There's no way it could be a novel tactic, it's way too basic. Klingons might just have a different term for it, like "twenty good men" or something.
@@RogueShadows depends on if the klingon home world had horse like animals. targs look pretty small to ride into battle.
Y'ALL know all this about this ship I don't even know the name of the movie or TV show .. A Warp is one of the vertical threads on a loom when you're weaving cloth . Why are they chasing a star ship with a loom and textiles.
" By the hand of Ka'las" that ole fool!!!!
They should've shown the waiter Ben's reaction in Ten-Forward. He knew Sito, too.
I would have used the red matter and full warp😂
C was a pretty ship.
Nu trek certainly doesn’t come near as bad ass as this, I miss this show
DS 9 ???
Something nearly every science-fiction show ignores is the long-term effects of deep-space exposure. Space isn't entirely empty, and after a thousand years of exposure the ship should be in tatters. Now it is a little banged up sure, but not the kind of damage you'd expect to see. Depending on how many layers of hull it had some interior areas probably could still be pressurized, but the outer pressure hull would've literally disintegrated over the centuries. Just cosmic dust, random-ass free oxygen molecules rusting away one atom at a time, high-speed cosmic dust ever so slowly power-sanding away at it, leading to visible erosion. And I mean this thing IS in an asteroid belt too. Plenty of debris to make contact with.
Starfleet problem is there too soft. They wait to there shield are nearly gone before firing. Madness
Reminds me of some very interesting events in my own life The time I met my identical body double (but they were smoking and I don't) The time I met a young man who has my middle name and looked like he could be my son (I don't have any kids) And the time a certain older lady sat beside me and after a few minutes I realized that she was the exact double if my mom who has died 6 months earlier I could go on, but those should suffice for now And of course the time i met my younger self in Heaven and the conversation we had there
When Science Fiction is unrealistic to the point of being unbelievable, then it gets beyond silly. Here you have hundreds of starships capable of warp drive, with long range sensors, and long range weapons, and they are in a formation as tight as sardines in a can. That makes absolutely zero sense.
Kipling
i wish the writing was a bit better. Picard: "What kind of ship is that?" Data: "It's a Miranda Class" Picard: "Way out here?" Riker: "Are they underway?" Whorf: "Miranda Class? Oh no, they ded."
1:50 The way Finnegan jumps over that rock is too good.
The Enterprise isn't superior anymore, shields are down, don't be surprised...The Next Generation has the firepower
Why Warp 7? Why not Warp 6 or Warp 9?
And yet again, a woman tries to interrupt a battle by being super soft.
Can you say, "A.I."? 😉
One of the greatest sci-fi fleet battles ever made. Up there with RotJ’s Battle of Endor. It has narrative coherence, the tactical manoeuvres are consistent with the strategic purpose of getting beyond the Dominion fleet to DS9. The individual ships are given little stories, moments to shine amid the carnage. Instead of today’s nonsense from Star Wars or modern trek where the director seems to think that filling the screen with ships is the way to go, when instead it is silly, impossible to follow and just, terrible as a way to depict a battle.
Why is it that all these space SIFI shows do not use real tactics? Just go watch some Eve online and figure it out. no stand-off weapons, no electronic warfare, no capitals or carriers,
it was all good, until they showed the actual dyson sphere and despite it should be the size of something of 250 million km, the video shows it to have a curvature of something that's more like 25-50km.
