    Kang didn't need a red swirling rage eating entity for motivation this time.

    At 0:26 no patrols, then at 0:35 the first thing we see is patrols.

      Kang got his information from the albino, supposedly to give Kang a fighting chance for vengeance, and end the albino's flight and hiding. It was a setup.

    For a Da’har master Koloth was an absolute passenger in this fight

    0:10 - JG hertzler - HOW many klingons did he play?

    • @danieldickson8591
      @danieldickson8591 Před 2 měsíci +2

      A few of them, but none in that scene. Those were Michael Ansara (Kang), John Colicos (Kor), and William Campbell (Koloth), all actors/characters from the original series. All deceased now, sadly.

      Dax disabled all directed energy weapons using tetryon particles. This forced them to resort to melee weapons.

    Didn’t Kang knock the fuck out of Kirk in hand to hand combat once ?

    • @jimhills1920
      @jimhills1920 Před 2 měsíci

      No. Kang back-handed Kirk to the ground while 4 of his men held Klingon blasters on him. When they did go hand-to-hand later on, it was a draw until Mara and Spock told them to look up at the Entity that was the cause of everything.

    • @danieldickson8591
      @danieldickson8591 Před 2 měsíci +2

      It wasn't clear to me either. His prosthetic head makeup looks Klingon, but the way he talks about them, and they about him, sounds like they don't recognize any kinship.

      If I recall correctly, Kang was mortally wounded but not yet dead. Dax distracted The Albino and allowed Kang the honor of striking the final blow, thus fulfilling the Blood Oath before he died. For a Klingon, that's the equivalent of giving him the best birthday/Christmas present you can imagine.
