Sounds more like a game problem ... or maybe the CPU overheats. Anyway, you should never be at 100%. First, check your temps with a program like hwmonitor ... you can disable turbo boost as well to avoid heat. Droping to those frames means your CPU is throttling hard.

You have 8gb ram or 16? If you have 8, the game uses page file (hdd space) which is way slower than ram and that's why you stutter more often.

I had no problem upgrading my OS. And it's working rly well. I never reinstalled Windows for whatever reasons. Just when i switched from HDD to SSD.

1903 is not good, You are right. It feels heavy and laggy.

Well idk if u tried this but when I added other module of ram on my laptop there was a boost of fps. AVG: 180-200fps at low settings (benchmark map) 1080p. My laptop: i7 4710hq gtx 960? Extra tip: I installed a lite versión of original windows 10 and with latest drivers

In which game, exactly? It looks like ... something is using your CPU beside the game/games. Look around ... open task manager and see what is using your CPU. Did you upgrade WIN 10 to august update? This update have huge problems with cortana/search ... your pc will use 30-40% of your cpu for nothing. Uninstall the update if this is the problem, until they fix it. (I talk from experience, i did this because my cpu was on 30% all the time without touching it ... and search was not working at all) Check nvidia control panel ... look for shader cache and set it to ON. After that, in first match or max 2 matches ... your cpu usage will be a bit high until he memorize what he needs for a future experience. (other matches) Do this first, with control panel ... and then look at task manager while you are ingame and see what uses your cpu.

With AA, i have a small feeling of lag input ... i prefer to avoid any setting that will mess with this subject. Also, my opinion is: Either go for ULTRA on AA or disabled. No "middle" option. (Avoid lag input ...or avoid blur as much as possible.) I prefer AA on ultra instead of disabled, but only on games where my pc is not struggling with them.

@@riccardobasile2779 just installed, to give you a reply: Between 60 - 100+ ... with an average of 80-90 fps ... 50%+ of the time more than 90 ... and rarely 100+. The game feels nice at 1080p resolution, very low settings with 2gb texture streaming and 85 field of view.

Usually, you don't need to touch CPU ... you can try like this: CPU: Undervolted and you can even disable turbo boost. If he is strong enough to not bottleneck the gpu even at default clocks. GPU: Overclock and undervolt in the same time. (Higher freq. at lower voltage. Ex: +"n" freq and - 0.100 voltage (default can be 1.125-1,2 like mine, but i undervolted to reach 0.925 at maximum freq. About - 0.200 which is insane.) In this way, your laptop will be more cooler than usual ...with less power consumption overall and more stable performance ..or even better performance.

With the same specs? 5-10 more frames probably in demanding situations. I will not recommend lower resolutions in this game, specially with very low settings. You will have the 2nd chance all the time in any fights. (Close and range) Only play this game at native resolution. Anything below will make your game, harder.

How many frames? Depends ... in your case, the most important are the ram / rams, if you have one stick or they are 2 in dual channel. To get the maximum performance, you need to have at least 2 modules of 4gb ram. I want to point that ... 8 gb ram are not enough anyway, especially for PUBG, where the entire system uses more than 8. On point: If you have 2 sticks ... you can get between 60-80, in some cases more than 80. (very low settings .... you can set textures higher like medium or high with minimum performance impact)

If you want to test by yourself ... try fortnite first.

I don't know much about ltsc, just he is a special version of windows with less pre-installed programs. Hard to say how stable and bug free is. We can optimize the normal version as well to make it light, so i go for 1903.

It's the same gameplay, but rendered 2 times on both OS versions(replay system which use the game engine). So you can see even the smallest difference. But even in this way, a benchmark can't be 100% accurate. It's way more accurate than showing 2 diferent gameplays, even if they follow a same path. (As you can see a lot of them on the internet, but they are less accurate than in my case.)

Hard to say. Depends of your computer power. If you have a high end pc, the differences can be minimal and in this case, it's better to stick with newer versions. Even if you lose 1-2-3 fps. (this can be a margin of error subject)

A lot of things can make you problems like temps, ram(one module and this means single channel), nvidia control panel settings, power plan settings, not forcing the game to go on high priority(this can be a important one), vsync enabled, framerate limit. etc. If you really did everything, reset it ... but for me, it seems like a fps limit. You can definitely go higher than 60 frames, even with a laptop in bad shape with this configuration. Look for that limit, nvidia panel or ingame or rivatuner if you use, anything.

You are running on integrated graphics. Go to Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Program Settings -> Select a program to customize -> 1. Select or "Add" the game .exe / launcher -> 2. Select the preferred graphics processor for this program: HIGH PERFORMANCE NVIDIA PROCESSOR Have fun.

Laptop vs Games its not what you say bro, im sure first, because i just check it out few days ago and the configuration on nvidias panel its like you said, and second, because there are times when i boot on my laptop and it doesnt recognize my dedicated card (1050), just detect the intel graphics, i know this because on this situations i run any game and the fps are in 10-15 fps. When it recognize my 1050 the fps are in 50-55, on both situations the % is 0 on the 1050, so i know its running the game with the 1050 because if not, the frames would be on 10-15, all this situation its reaaaally weird,

@@gerardorodriguez1366 you tried a clean uninstall/install of driver with DDU? Under global setting, in nvidia control panel ... you changed from auto-select to nvidia processor? To force every program to run on dedicated card. It can be a driver problem at first look ...or even worse, motherboard. Before jumping to hardware problem, you could even try a fresh windows install, legit one (you can download from microsoft and activate in the same time ..or later.) Avoid any pirate version. If nothing seems to work. But first, try uninstalling with ddu and delete any trace from the old driver ... restart pc, then install again.
