- Hi fellow gamers! I tested PUBG, Fortnite, CS GO and World War Z on my laptop with 2 different WINDOWS 10 versions. 1809 and the new one, 1903. More details below:
- Intel® Core™ i7 7700HQ Processor

So, we have like this:
- OS fully optimized
- Game optimized
- Both cpu + gpu optimized for best performance and nice temps
- Nvidia control panel optimized settings
- App. compatibility settings
- Cpu high priority selected
- Nvidia inspector frame rate limiter tweak (v1)

I built a ryzen 3000 gaming pc a month ago with win10 1903. RE2 and Far Cry New Dawn crashed when trying to launch it. Some games worked, some didnt. I ended up installing 1809 and all my games worked with no issues. Something in 1903 broke my games.
So less cpu load and higher fps, nice

When I install 1903, I have ping like 500ms but when I do a speed test I have 2ms... I think it s this version of windows 10. Have you got the same issue when you use 1903?
No problems at the moment.
dude the speedtesters does a test to the most near server from your location, maybe in your own country or in your city, but the games has servers around the continents so change the location the speedtest to one of those servers and you will see why you got a ping like that.

the new version use 1 gb more of ram I still with 1809 untill I can buy more ram

Same gameplay benchmarked 2 times using demo/replay system.
Replay system uses the game engine.

is it just me, or when I upgrade my windows to 1903 it feels so heavy and laggy and use so much more ram? and here I am seeing your video and like wtf? you get much better performance, how tf is that possible?
I had no problem upgrading my OS. And it's working rly well. I never reinstalled Windows for whatever reasons. Just when i switched from HDD to SSD.

I don't know much about ltsc, just he is a special version of windows with less pre-installed programs. Hard to say how stable and bug free is. We can optimize the normal version as well to make it light, so i go for 1903.
Hi i overclocked my laptop and i increase +90 in the cores and 150 in memory clock but i noticed that the battery start to drain like 20% off in normal use does overclocking make your battery drain and thnx btw.
OFc... since you use more power... it drains faster , make sense ?
Usually, you don't need to touch CPU ... you can try like this:
CPU: Undervolted and you can even disable turbo boost. If he is strong enough to not bottleneck the gpu even at default clocks.
GPU: Overclock and undervolt in the same time. (Higher freq. at lower voltage. Ex: +"n" freq and - 0.100 voltage (default can be 1.125-1,2 like mine, but i undervolted to reach 0.925 at maximum freq. About - 0.200 which is insane.)
In this way, your laptop will be more cooler than usual ...with less power consumption overall and more stable performance ..or even better performance.

Use the latest version, i had no issues upgrading my OS everytime. In the other hand, the last 2 versions if i'm right, they come with a low latency feature that will help you in games.

About PUBG, i don't know what to say. Margin of error i suppose.
Overall, my system feels better. Need to play PUBG a few days more, indeed i do not agree a lose of performance because he is my main game. But i still think it's not the case.

1903 feels better in my case. In some games you can experience a slightly better framerates and in others ..not at all. But, overall, it's a good update.

So when i changed my win 10 version after formatting my hard cause of virus i noticed alot if fps drops
@@ziadpsycho630 maybe hdd is the problem ... test it with a few programs and check his condition. Or maybe something was running on the background at that moment. And the best advice, go for SSD.
Warning guys if u have old i5 and hd4000 u gonna decrease performance like 40%

Hard to say. Depends of your computer power. If you have a high end pc, the differences can be minimal and in this case, it's better to stick with newer versions. Even if you lose 1-2-3 fps. (this can be a margin of error subject)

Replay system? :| It's the most accurate benchmark you can do, by my own experience. If you don't know much about benchmarking, at least don't speak, not before you investigate by yourself. Thanks.

How many frames? Depends ... in your case, the most important are the ram / rams, if you have one stick or they are 2 in dual channel. To get the maximum performance, you need to have at least 2 modules of 4gb ram. I want to point that ... 8 gb ram are not enough anyway, especially for PUBG, where the entire system uses more than 8.
On point: If you have 2 sticks ... you can get between 60-80, in some cases more than 80. (very low settings .... you can set textures higher like medium or high with minimum performance impact)

It's the same gameplay, but rendered 2 times on both OS versions(replay system which use the game engine). So you can see even the smallest difference. But even in this way, a benchmark can't be 100% accurate. It's way more accurate than showing 2 diferent gameplays, even if they follow a same path. (As you can see a lot of them on the internet, but they are less accurate than in my case.)

This is fake look at leaderboard in csgo and you will see the same guys with the same score .
It's based on DEMO which is using the GAME ENGINE. I tried to give the most accurate benchmark ...instead of faking vids as you say.
