Hello Tom! Thank you for reaching out to us. We'll pass your request on to Leanne to see what could be possible. Generally we have our Wednesday Lives planned a few weeks ahead of time and next week's show will focus on the AIFD Symposium that just wrapped up in Orlando. Summer flowers are just starting to come into bloom in the Pacific Northwest, and while we do have sunflower farms here, the flowers themselves don't usually appear here until mid-August through September. When they do show up in the market, we'll be sharing plenty of them with you. We appreciate you taking the time to watch our Live this week all about summer Flower School. Some students take Basic Floral Design on-line and then join us in Portland for a week for Advanced Floral Design. Others do the reverse and come in-person for Basic Floral Design and then do Advanced Floral Design on-line. Some people take our one-day workshops to dip their foot in the pool and get a feel for our classes. Whenever you are ready, we'll be here to help you find the best way that works for you. We love lilacs too, Anne! They are so fragrant and beautiful, but also quite fleeting. Ours usually appear in April or May and they come in a variety of colors, which are so lovely in floral arrangements. Given that our seasons are opposite yours, would lilacs appear there in October or November perhaps? Either way they are such fabulous flowers and we're so glad you love them as well.
