  • Whether you call them silks, artificial flowers, or permanent botanicals, they're back on trend -- but they don't always look that great after being tightly packed in a box. In this Tulip Tuesday How-To Video Leanne shares a great technique (and a great tip courtesy of Super Tulip Laurie), for making them look farm-fresh! Enjoy!

How you happened to choose this topics s truly funny. I was contemplating how to use some “permanent botanicals” I had in my flower room and ‘lo and behold…..here you go and show how to use them and how to freshen them. We must be on the same wave length.🥰
I would love it show you how I did a Christmas tree several years ago using silk orchids. At that time, I was raising orchids and Christmas is the time of the year I had dozens of full blooming orchids. (I had almost 200 orchids at one time in my tiny house.) Snow was outdoors and orchids were blooming indoors.
I just could NOT let myself cut the living spikes so I found silk ones.
Is there a way I might share my photo with you sometime? It is beastly hot this time of the year and thinking of Christmas is helping my brain cool down a bit.
Anyway, thanks for your timing of the broadcast.👍

The Christmas tree with silk orchids sounds fabulous and would be such a beautiful way to showcase the flowers, Pix! Having 200 orchids in your house sounds amazing and so lovely indeed.
