I had mine for 6 months..25 folds a day (reasonable) x 200 days(being generous) id say these junk phones are only good for 5000 folds..

My Flip 5 got bubbles on the screen from where it folds in 7 months of use. So disappointing.

If you get the Z Flip 5 (or the more recent Flip 6) and slap a good case that can cover the hinge and protect it, these phones will last a staggeringly long time and that's great.

I've had both versions of these flip phones. One Samsung Z flip 3, nd two z-flip 4's and most recently a Motorola Razr 23+. All 4 phones failed at the crease on the LCD within 1 year (10 months, 6 months, 2 days and 7 months for the Motorola. The screen's are not designed to handle being folded. They (both companies) try to blame it on user eorror, or say that the hinge was damaged and they won't replace nor honor their warrantee. It's unfortunate. There really needs to be a class action lawsuit.

Had to bring my z flip 5 for repair after 11 months of use due to a dead pixel near the hinge. Good thing the phone was still under warranty 😢

Most online reviewers have good things to say (not sure if it’s because they’re sponsored), but I’m on my third Samsung flip 5 in less than eight months because the hardware and then the screen started failing. Perhaps it’s because Verizon is sending me refurbished versions under their warranty. My flip 5 literally went black and useless on me while on a three week trip traveling abroad - neither Samsung nor Verizon could help me. Had to buy another phone smh.
