I believe foldable are better, because you don't have to wait a few seconds for it to unroll, and apps have standard sizes anyway, but it's nice concept for other smart devices. Nice they still try to do some things differently, will see how it goes
I think the point is just to have a small form factor phone while still having a big enough screen for content consumption. For power users foldable are definitely the better option.
Don't get me wrong I'd love to have one but what if.. The phone and that laptop in the other video are fully extended and the battery dies. That motor will be a drain on the battery. They need to massively improve batteries first. I love all this new tech as I have the Samsung z fold 4

Nope. Foldables are ugly and bulky no one likes them. This roll may have chance in the future.
