True, but also with eyetracking and synchronised with the panel refresh rate flickering lenticular lenses could really up the game to the point of beeing amazing for older games. Imagine a 240hz panel, that would get each of your eye a full resolution 120fps in a game, no glasses needed. I honestly think it's quite neat.
Eye tracking tracks only one person, other viewers can easily find a good spot to also enjoy the 3D images, but if the main viewer moves the viewing angles for the others will also move.
So they literally put the technology from 2014 nintendo new 3ds (glasses-free 3d with eye position tracking)... to the laptops and monitors. On the one hand what took so long, and on the other nice to see it
This is not Stereoscopic 3D like the 3DS, this is also Holographic 3D, if you move your head around a 3D model, you can see other angles of the object, like in real life
I am intresting in two aspects. How this will work if you work as designer, constructor etc.? How will be impact of use this type of screen for tired eyes?
I think it's matter most for one person use. And if somebody want to watch movie with us, just make a toogle switch in software or control center from stereo to mono.

If I understand it correctly, the eye tracking is crucial to make it working, so might be a problem with TV which is often watched by multiple people.

I would love a 120Hz+ OLED desktop monitor. I don't need a whole new system or a laptop, but definitely interested in having a screen like that.

I don't know if I want additional camera constantly watching me. That's the biggest flaw
