How Are Airsoft Guns Actually Developed
Some say NOVRITSCH rebrands Airsoft guns. So we decided it's about time someone showed how the process of Airsoft Gun Development actually works. This is something unique, as this is not commonly shared. What do you think about the process? And what should we develop? Let us know in the comments!

I have always suppored nov. The time the effort it shows in every single product!
my Dad and I did this in 2017
Maybe I'm stupid, but why would someone manufacture a pistol as a replica, while changing the design so that a real counterpart wouldn't work whatsoever.. so it basically becomes some weird sci-fi gun with a 1911 grip.. couldn't you just have decent electric internals, a funnel to pour bb's in instead of a gas mag and a cheap plastic two-part shell like a nerf, but in a simple blocky shape maybe with an ergonomic grip, similar to RC car bodies, harder and thicker of course. But why all the john whacky design made from machined metals if you're so worried about production prices and affordability.. As a collector of replicas I wouldn't touch a thing like that, but if you play airsoft, why does it matter so much what your gun looks like? Wouldn't you just want a precise and reliable bb hose? Why would you want a sniper when you could have a fullauto sniper? I never understood that.. I mean I get it if you play for imersion, but if you play to win, why aren't internals with a wooden grip and a huge hopper filled with bbs enough?
Nice video from the perspective of development, engineering and manufacturing. Product development can be hard but in the end it's lots of fun.
Have you considered automation of some of the tests? For example chrono consistency or firing 10k times...
Awesome video! It was interesting to see the process behind all of it
Yeah, we got a dramatic increase of sniper rifles which is really anoying as 50% of the players are barly moving during the gameday.
Fr tho. I love novritsch but the results of the that ssg dropping was pretty sucky
Itâs the same thing in nerf, no one moves because the first one to move will get shot by others
Ive used my battery like 3 times and now it only charges to like 10% i can get like 10 shots before it dies idk what happened
Very nice smal-brother to the Longvideo ;)

The ssg24 is crap has a crimped bilt handle its an inferior rebrand of the modify m24sf which I have one of and saw the ssg24 fail so claiming its an out the box amazing airsoft gun is a lie as you've rebounded an already amazing sniper replica and put a fluted outer barrel on the pistol isn't that the one that fails if the trigger is pulled a certain way yay more Nov bullshit I've seem these failures with my own eyes on several examples so that's why me and many others don't recommend novristch products shit ya can even get the ssg24 cheaper and with the issues fixed by ordering direct from modify themselves he makes very little from what I've heard just goes and takes nice kids in other folks shops and claims he does all the research
I need a micro tavor airsoft đą
You mean like an Tavor X95? The CTAR exists is that's small enough for you but be warned, they're streaming dog shit.
The SSG24, an upgraded base sniper ? Wasn't that the purpose ? Bring a upgraded Sniper Rifle with also good material, for example internals and the stock, to the market. So people who don't want or have the knowledge to upgrade and spend lots of money could also get a good performing sniper ?
Pretty much everything Novritsch sells has a remarkably similar version available without excessive marketing for 33-50% + discount: He claims to revolutionize airsoft with the SSG24 yet it's just a Modify m24 with $15 of work put into it Straight up rebranded VFC Avalon but he got greedy Now rebrands Specna Arms but with T238 electronics for massive markup , just terrible He stole Templar Gear designs He stole ExFog designs There's so much more
After a few weeks of little use my gearbox shell on the SSR4 broke in half
When the fuck are you going to do a sdp5 carbine kit. ?
50% of airsoft players like Novritsch guns, while 50% do not. Rebranding typically involves taking an existing product and placing a new brand name on it. However, Novritsch. He does add value to the original product. My team has purchased some guns from Novritsch. While they are not exceptional, they are functional. Novritsch improves the guns to some extent, but some of the items, like the tool kits, are essentially just rebranded versions of products you can find on platforms like Temu for 10 Euros. What do you expect? A high-quality gun at a cheap price? Remember, you get what you pay for.
Congrats guys! Nice work done!
Further tip if you are a bit of a worrier. As well as using a lipo back, take the whole bundle (charger battery in bag etc) and pop it onto a large dinner plate. Itâs just another layer of protection to help keep things under more control if they go wrong. A large dinner plate is my choice because one it means that you 100% have anything that could get hot or firery on something that wonât go up in flames itself if thereâs a failure thus hopefully slowing any spread allowing you more time to react and complete your safety procedure. Fortunately never had to do so but itâs a nice extra layer of safety to keep you chill if your like me and have thoughts like âbut what if the lipo bag fails ?â
i am not a big fan of the CD version because sometimes a stick from a bush or the backpack of a player can destroy them. Also you will have CDs or parts of it all over the field. RIght now i am working on a hitcounter for cars with smoke and stuff, but no littering.
One time I took shots to the glasses before I could call hit, than took a few more to my glove when I put up my hand in front of my glasses, eye protection is a must have
The video passed Quality Control and is grade A1
No word about the guns or system they use. Whole video is about manifacture process.. Imagine video title about Aligators but the whole wideo would be about the boats used to travel around the swamps...
Hehe
I just wanted to know, if it is hard to use or it can do a beginner like me, not to explode my brain đ
What I want for dry fire training are DA/SA airsoft replicas that have a similar trigger pull. Not a single DA/SA airsoft pistol at IWA had somewhat decent trigger. A lot of FoF guys on the cheap and a lot of 'real steel' users would use a lot more airsoft pistols. This expands the pool of buyers. They don't need to fire necessarily. If it has the same weight, balance, sights, triggers and grips would fit, see that version like a more usable blue gun. If it could replicate some recoil to some degree that's nice too.
Last year I had the most wholesome experience with a kid coming to me, asking to try out my sniper rifle. He was so overwhelmed with joy, it was awesome, they should absolutely be allowed to play - this is how we grow our future generation of Airsofters.
Was truly interesting to hear what is happening behind the scene with Novritsch gun QA, thanks for sharing!
I don't mind rebranding if it comes along with improvements. I was a big fan of the SSG24 and I don't give a s*** on the fact, that it is heavily based on the Modify model. It just worked, and the not so stable parts were replaced with reliable parts. But you lost me after that for many reasons, different reasons - I will not go into that now, and most of it is simple personals preferences, not anything negative about your products. It's just decisions, which direction to go, for example materials used for certain parts, outer barrel width (that's the one thing I HATED about my SSG24) or comparison of the rifle with the look of the real thing (I love E&L for that, when it comes to AKs).
Lithium burns on contact with water......
It's good to see the step-by-step procedure, and there was a mega amount that didn't occur to me, but Novritsch has always said that it tests it's products, but this shows their quality control over their designs are as rigorous as any product anywhere that's being mass produced. It's good that they mentioned the SSP5, because I've been after the top-slide upgrade that they posted about 18 months ago that was in the development stage. Now I know exactly what's involved, I'll stop pestering them.
keep up the good work!
Problem is NOT "rebranding" but using bad factories. KJW - makes your GBB pistols and is good Well - makes SSG96, can make good stuff if told how to Fujian Qingliu - SSR4 factory, makes Specna Arms Edge M4 and Lancer Tactical and some other brands, BAD factory! BAD QC and bad materials. Gearboxes known for cracking, dust covers and pins known for rusting, bolt catch if functional made out of plastic and cracks easily, internals made out of chinesium. JG - (also makes Double Bell) makes SSG10, SSR63, SSR90. Can make good stuff if told how to. If you switched some of your production to Cyma factory (SSR4, SSR9 and maybe some others) you'd get much more durable gearbox shells, better bolt catch mechanism, better motors (with bad pinion gears but that can be fixed), better build quality and they already have amazing 13:1 gears. Other option would be E&C, much better quality. The problem here is probably that E&C and Cyma don't want to make more custom stuff that Qingliu factory agrees to. Every single brand that sells low quality stuff people make fun of uses Qingliu factory. I don't understand who decided that using a factory that makes Lancer Tactical stuff is a good idea. Also don't understand why you had to f-up the inner barrel and hop design of SSG96 but thanks for telling Well how to fix the empty mag stuff, now they're selling it for $130-150 with same body and internals as your SSG96mk2 and it's better than yours since it doesn't have a proprietary hopup design. Funny thing is that Specna Arms jumped on it instantly and is already reselling it under their own name. They did the same with Double Eagle M904E and Well WE01A that you also resell (SSR9 with different internals and few different externals). All I want to say is that the problem is NOT rebranding or using the same factory but using a factory that's known for bad quality and doing something different that ends up simply being stupid (hop design of SSG96 mk2). Factories Novritsch uses and my personal rating of their stuff (with prices they go for outside asia): KJW - 8 out of 10 ($60-$140) Well - 7 out of 10 (if told to make good stuff) ((2 out of 10 when they save money on every part)) ($40-$220, $220 being their DSG AEG) JG - 7 out of 10 (if told to make good stuff) ((4 out of 10 when they use ABS instead of nylon polymer, also known for very bad AOE out of the box when using plastic rack pistons)) ($100-$220) Qingliu - 2 out of 10 (they will never be able to make good stuff) ($100-$220) Not used: Cyma - 9 out of 10 (if they use their best parts) ((6-10 if cheaping out)) Good quality externals and great quality internals (ignoring the electronics). Best (most durable) molded V2 GB shell on the market. ($90-$300) E&C - 9 out of 10 (if they use their best parts but they need better gears and motors) Amazing quality externals (VFC level) and decent internals. ($150-$250) edit: added prices that those manufacturers use for reference, most of those manufacturers have nothing above $300 (unless it's licenced).
what if you had an airsoft gun where you can control the amount of green gas like it would decrease the efficiency but it would increase the power but it would also may be increased recoil what if you had an airsoft gun that was designed to fly

Does anyone know what top/shirt is being worn in this video? Thanks in advance.
5:15 What about at like a field in a neighborhood just shooting targets?
want a tip for BB companies to save something aswell? :) DON'T throw away low quality bbs why? because APS shotgun replicas exist :) and they literally function how a shotgun is suposed to be...you don't need any quality of BB here... + grenades + mines + other weird applications.. i would buy all these rezidual bbs...if only i could find them...
How do you develop the mags? Asking cause none of ur mags work in ur own guns straight out of the box
No one ever tried them it's obvious
wow the product line is just like the real steel one
I need but im living in mexico
KJ Works KP range seems to be the basis for the SSP18 , if anyone cares. Fixed barrel is nice though! But fairly easy to do at home with a few tools......either way, nice video!! đ
Dang im speechless im getting back into airsoft and i am still sticking with you.
Great in-sight! It was very detailed. Man, manufacturing and product design from idea to the field sure takes awhile and is complicated.
Soo many money invested into this business yet it can never perform as well as a fully custom airsoft not even with the same price
i dunno whats the point trying to gaslight the people, novritsch are rebrands with ''upgrades'' some work well, some work awful xd there are a tiny little part or airsoft brands who are the ones who manufacture the pieces, and the others are rebrands or use pieces from multiple manufactures
