We usually play "Mayhem"
It's team deathmatch with revives.. but you join the team that revives you, until there is only 1 team left.

It’s called “Chaos Mode” where we play!
It’s super fun! We usually only do it with 2 teams of 2-4 tho to limit confusion.

Imagine an assassination game mode where you have to eliminate a certain player or a balloon or something and get away undetected
a mode I would did is using Drones to carry certain weapons an items into the field an you must collect enough of them to extract

Pistol's only with only pistol magazines would be bad ass! the only problem is at my local field, too many people end up with Pistol HPA setups and M4 or Drum mags. so they dont properly reload
one of an well game mode you missed. its mostly also called Zombie or swat. its simpel and you start im smale groups, around 4, and all groups start in different directions on the field. all groups play against and if you are hit you go back to the sport and go in a new group of the 4 people. more tactical and a good game on the end of a play day.
Pistols only is my favorite! We also have game mode called Ultra which means you can play with any airsoft gun that does not involve a battery .I hate being suppressed by some high cap m4 aeg, it does not feel right.
Solution: Be the guy with “some high cap m4. aeg”

Still new to airsoft but holding the line or The Bomb sound like fun!
The most popular gamemode in my country is domination. Two or three devices are placed around the map, the device has a red and blue button. If blue is pressed, blue time is running. If red is pressed, red time is running. In the end the times will count up and the team with more overall time spent holding a device wins. It's way better than team death match, which promotes camping and defensive playstyle, this instead promotes agressive flanking and management of which teammates go after which objective.
Hold the line aounds awesome, definitely going to recomend it to my group.
We play a game mode called infection, similar to the halo game mode, one person starts off as infected and is trying to hit other players and have them join their side. The game goes until everyone is infected. Great for smaller groups.
So far we have played team death match, it was fun the teams where small but still fun. Really looking forward to our first zombie apocalypse style game, they look like so much fun, either the zombies or the survivors

I do as well. Sometimes we play variants with multiple flags and which ever team has the most by end of timer wins, and yes sometimes we can steal them from enemy spawn but that rarely happens
More interesting game modes:
1 in the chamber: 1bb/mag
Assassination: complete objectives for hints on the VIP. Team who kill VIP in the least amount of time wins.
CQB free for all in my jam
At an indoor field that me and my friends go to is pretty much Capture the Flag except there is a life sized doll and you can only walk and use a pistol and if you get hit you drop it where you are. And the defensive team will get Jerry back to the prison.
My favourite game mode is hold the line. I played one such game while I was on holidays in Co. Wexford in Ireland, in an airsoft and paintball centre called "Spec Ops". The staff had gone through the efforts of building four separate fields.
One was specifically built for king of the hill, and it had a dummy plane as "the hill"
One was a CQB field
One field was extremely versatile and it had a bridge that acted as a chokepoint.
And the final field had a wooden fort with two floors and it was amazing for a hold the line game. During the 30 minute game, the defenders had two lives, one for each floor of the fort, and the attackers had unlimited lives although their respawn point was far away. There were some other rules such as:
The attackers can't enter the fort until the last 5 minutes of the game.
Defenders couldn't go up to the second floor during their first life, and they couldn't go to the 1st floor during their second life.
Me and my brothers play airsof with our friends in their woods and it's a bit more challenging than playing at a field

My favorites are zombie apocalypse and pistol only
I played a game mode called back shots you can only eliminate people by shooting them in the back if you are spotted with your back pushed up against a wall you are to turn around and take 5 steps back where anyone who is in view is told to shoot you was quite fun and they also had a rule where if you run into someone you can do rock paper scissors to see who goes back to spawn
Free for all seems fun
I think you missed a game mode because were I go they have a game mode called project president. Its where the team that protecting a brave staff member have to keep the president alive for as long a possible and only has one revive and that goes for the whole team. The other team has infinite revives and will try their best to hit the president. Oh and i forgot the president team has a riot shield pistol only player.
AKA project the riot shield
We call it VIP and anyone who has a riot shield can use it regardless of their role in the game. Yes the terrorists can have riot shields too. Only people at our field have riot shields tho, and they don’t use them very often in general
