I do like the homemade chin mount I've got, way prefer the angle and extra stabilisation you get, and you just generally get a good view at all times, even when sitting down. Also like that with the chin mount and the media mod fitted I can talk to the camera and generally get pretty good audio. In the UK you can't have anything camera wise fitted to your body anywhere so you have to put the camera on the bike, so I use a GoPro 360 for those races. I think it's a daft rule, the pros wear GoPros, was re watching the Erzberg rodeo the other day (they tended to be helmet mounted) I think it stems from Michael Schumacher, I've heard that's what did for him, he crashed skiing and it was his helmet mounted gopro that did the damage. What temperature does it run at?

I just installed this mod in the 2nd hole and it is just right for me. The pull is easier, but I was really looking for a "wider clutch engagement". This is perfect.

For adventure bike in the shin of the helmet, for dirt bikes i think in the chest is better, cause you don't have a tower in the front.

Great video! The cush drive bearing, unlike the main support bearings, have very little motion only there to accommodate the slight back and forth motion of the cush drive. Never seen a cush drive bearing fail. But, while it's all apart, replacing it is a good idea and easy.

I had to replace my front tire tube after 182 miles from brand new. I am told the factory didn't put the band on the rim correctly, which caused the spokes to rub on the tube. Luckily the bike is outstanding and kept me alive while ridding 10 miles on a flat going over 148 kmh 92 mph.

I was about to buy Tenere but when i tested it out. I was surprised of the seat how low it was. Since then I haven’t look back to it. It felt very weird to be that low on such a big bike. I am used to have flat seat because of my supermoto. I guess with that rally seat it will feel a lot better and just like my supermoto.

where can I purchase?

Did you happen to pick up fork bleeders for your new cartridge kit? I noticed that the bleed screws are smaller than the stock bleed screws, so my old bleeders won’t fit. I’d measure the screws myself, but I’m away for work, and want to order new bleeders for when I get back.

How's the mileage been with mixed dirt and street on the trackers?

Thanks for this, very useful. Ive just ordered new fork springs and preload caps, so will swap them out when they arrive. Ive done the fork seals on my MX bikes before but when replacing the oil you added a specific amount, you obviously know it starts empty. I'm guessing to measure the oil gap you could use anything, the tool you use is just set to the right gap and then will either add or subtract oil. I will eventually get the full Ktech treatment but just for now I'm uprating the springs front and rear. Many thanks for your T7 suspension vids, they are an awesome guide, appreciate it!

How hard was it to get the bottom portion of the RR shock on dog bone. When I was installing my RR shock I had to lightly tap it with a rubber hammer. Now I get a slight squeak when pushing down on the rear of the bike. Pretty sure it coming from that area?? Not noticeable while riding. Did you have a squeak?

Anyone have any idea on the dimensions of the tool compartment? Curious if my Kriega tool bag will fit.

Hi, it's a pleasure listen your calm presentation about Tenere-stuff! Thanks a lot!!! I love to improve my equipment for adventure-travelling with my T7. Thanks a lot for the solution to vakuum the tubes!!! I did the same with the tyre-soap! Some small pouches with the soap are under my seat. It saves space instead of an extra container because the pouches are flat. For opening the tubevalves in the field I use something else. A small tool with a thin steel rope "Air valve puller". I use it from DRC. Its extremly helpful for pulling the tubevalve through the Rim-hole. Rope/valvethread from the outer side to the inner side of the rim. Srew the valvethread in the valve Its the best to install the tube in the tyre, at the end the valve and at the very end pulling the valve through the hole. Now save the valve with the srew an pull the second side from the tyre onto the rim. I'm looking forward for new T7-videos 🙂 Best regards from germany
