Hello my friend, greetings from Brazil. I don't know if you're still here. The bike I'm going to try to do this project doesn't have this fitting welded onto the bike to fit the tower, any ideas or suggestions?

I would either have someone weld a piece of metal with holes in it like we have on the T7.
Otherwise you would need to clamp it in place somehow.
The T7 has not yet arrived in Brazil. I'll probably get an XT660 or some 250. But I'll try to get someone to weld a piece with the proportions of the T7, with 20mm from what I saw, thanks for the help.@@everythingtenere
Putting the tower together with wood screws, don’t you worry this will fall apart when riding off road with all the vibration?
Not really, Thomas have done this to his tower, it have corked out great. But I could go with straight through bolts of course.
My plan was to get some cone bolts and insert nuts with cone heads, so it will be countersunk.
We will see what path I will go
Do you need a broken headlight?
I would love the two low beam led modules (top lamps). Have checked with Yamaha service here, they thrown all broken ones. Not really season for repair at the workshops now 🤣

I only need a working headlight, cracked front plastic screen doesn't matter ;)
