Romantisice something means having an expectation of how it should be, and be consciense of every little progress, which probably will only give you anxiety unless you are making the cut. I was an absolutely prolific writer in my mid to late teens, until i found out i was extremely sick and needed surgeries to fix the issues. It... It broke me? I just completely crumbled creatively and lost my heart for story craft and poetry. It has taken nearly 20 years for me to heal mentally and emotionally, it was that bad. But your video made me realize, I've been writing again, here and there. Snippets of stories. Stanzas and couplets of poetry. I hadn't even noticed i was doing it. I hadn't noticed, hadn't realized, i was finding my heart again. Thank you so much 🌸

You pulled me in with your intro about waiting for X, Y, or Z thing or moment to create - I was doing just that with my most recent project until I took the time to use what I had available in front of me. I'm still new in my hobby but I'm loving it so far, especially when I see the final product!

I feel like this kind of content helps a lot, i sleep half of the day and i scroll through the internet the other half of the day and this video made me question myself “what am i doing with my life?” Is that the life i want? And it reminded me all the things i used to do years ago and when i was obsessed with reading books but now i stopped. Idk this video made me realize that im wasting my time so much while i can do so many other things i like and i decided to stop being addicted on this phone and be addicted to other things i love (books, writing, walking etc) idk if it makes any sense but yea. I hope i will be able to do it

The algorithm of YT worked a charm because I needed a video on this topic... I have been grappling with severe anxiety and depression in regards to my creative process. Having a background in architecture, the process has always meant hard work, fustration and I had to be very outcome-focused rather than truly enjoy the process. Moreover, I am an idealist by nature, meaning that every time I partake in a new experience I have high expectations - as a result, I fall hard when I realize the discrepancy between reality and what I fantasized about in the first place. How do you respond to this - the creative process as pain, suffering and frustration? Is there a way to turn it around? I am currently struggling with a blockage for a project I am working on. I also dislike it deeply when I don't have discipline in regards to my creative craft. When I have a job I complain I don't have time to get creative and do my own stuff and when I don't have a job - I am too worried looking for work to actually be creative. It's a vicious cycle and I find myself constantly making excuses, so most of it is on me...

For many of us I think we need to find a way to make time for a moment of down time from the hectic day. If not, it's difficult to find the time to shut out the world for a good moment, to listen to yourself in order to journal it.
