I heard a saying that goes like “don’t force yourself to get into something, but find something you’re so obsessed with that you have a hard time putting it down”. Thank you for reminding me man, your videos are very inspiring!
that sounds great, glad they help you man! love that saying
Damn that means I shouldn't put down my drugs

My first answer to doing something is always a no. A lot of people are wanting food, comfort only. And loving something doesn’t mean you love the process
As I've been struggling for soooo long trying to figure out what to do with my life and ending up with work resistance as a result of me being so hard on myself to get into doing certain stuff and reading this now I'm literally crying, but thank you sooo much. ❤
"if there's a part of you that's pushing you away from the work -- rediscover the part within you that's going to push you back" -- I needed this tonight, thank you.
Only realised recently why I was feeling so bitter and empty, because I wasn’t acting on the curiosity and ideas my brain feeds me. Past 3 years I followed others advice for my career. To do business, to get marketing skills. But I am only becoming more and more angry at the world. I think it’s because I’m not expressing my self through music.
As someone who is pursuing music because it’s their passion and is only looking into business and marketing now - those experiences certainly weren’t in vain they will serve you very well. All the best on your adventure! 😊
Same here. Decided to finally go on the “fuck it” route and am taking a chance on my actual aspirations in life, music 🙌🏼🔥✨
@@Rozlicious27this made me smile bro , do that. Sheeet 💯💯💯
@@Rozlicious27bro I just realized we have something in common. …tell me if. U notice 😂
Same. I’ve been following the “realistic” path that everyone says is smart but I’ve grown so bitter, sad, and angry. I don’t want to be an angry person. I’m starting to focus again on my creative endeavors…that one thing that it always comes back to.
I've noticed it. When you suddenly write the plot twist that even you didn't know about, the surprise, the excitement, the happiness... it's a great experience. You made me realize that not everyone gets to feel what I've felt. Artists are truly blessed. ❤
I'm 57 years old and love listening to young voices... you make me hopeful for our collective future. Your soul shines through here ✨️
creepy
I love this. I am 34 and I find it so inspiring and wonderful listening to the thoughts of Gen Z.
Change the wording on that first sentence bro😂

i used to love drawing when i was younger, but once I started going with a media that was most popular (anime/manga style) i started hating to draw, and do commissions. I came back 5 years later missing my creativity, and now im drawing semi realism again, crocheting, and playing with clay and im loving it. It really takes a different mindset of what you want to come out of your craft.
"You don't have to create it, all you have to do is receive it." You're a good writer.
i love the way you talk about "your creative spirit" as an entire character to build a relationship with
I suppress it at night. Every night around 9 pm..... the magical ideas come into my field of awareness..... and I say, go to bed.... we will do it in the morning..... I inspiration is gone by morning. I can't even recall the idea. I waste the gift
yessss I resonate a lot, this too happens to me. What I try to do is journal and write down the things I am feeling in the night so at least I can act on something material in the morning. It will still be a challenge to act w will power but there's no obstacle around that. It just is and we have to confront it, but that only means it is our destiny to finally overcome it
i have a friend in a different time zone i share story ideas with.
as ideas pop into my head in bed or in the evenings when im too busy to act on it i try to either send him or if completely bizzarre or unfinished or i dont want to bother him with the third idea in a night.
I send a message to myself.
Then i wake up in the morning with feedback or extra great ideas to act on in the morning full of coffee
@tozakfilming I am 50 and tryingnto do this thing we call content creation.
It's hard with a full time job, 2 dogs, and a desire to create
Yes, same here!! I resonate this so much!
@mialynnrivera3700 it's like..... "okay! It's Sunday night 🌙 at 930pm and I gotta be up for work or school early, but...... I'm in the mood to clean my room now. "
Why does it hit like that. I should just embrace it and lean into it a little. A little, becomes 2 to 3 am.
On a weeknight. Im getting older, man
Thankyou for putting time in to encourage artists in their craft.
Never thought that I should learn to play or draw what I like to listen to or watch. Thanks, makes so much sense!
yes! follow that good bliss, and enjoy
I really love how u think , such a cool perspective over creativity, only people in the zone can realise smth so close to the truth
I'm glad you resonate with the message! Yes, it's about getting to the truth, exactly
“If an idea strikes me, if inspiration strikes I’m not going to suppress that. I will create, if I feel called too.”
Spitting facts, I felt this shit.
Love this message, man. I haven’t painted in just over a year, and I recently thought of starting again.
I remember the fire and excitement I had for it. I had plans to make prints and sell my art at local markets and events. I think I stopped because I felt imposter syndrome. It felt stupid calling myself an artist when I compared my paintings to art by my favorite painters.
But lately I’ve had several people out of the blue ask me “do you still paint?” Which got me thinking about how I used to love it.
And I want that feeling back so bad.
Being able to enjoy the work that you do is invaluable. At some point, it doesn't even feel like work.
Today, I began editing videos for the apprenticeship I just started and had a great time. And I'm always eager to go back the next day. When I got home, I sketched out a whole one-page comic that I was really happy with. Previously, it would take me a few days, because I get distracted easily. I'll be finishing that up and inking it later tomorrow.
That's awesome. I also started editing videos for businesses recently as I'm starting my videography freelancing. It was a lot of fun and didn't feel like work. I enjoyed it and so it went by quickly. Was a huge gratitude check for me. Best of luck w all the work, enjoy!!
Truly building a genuine relationship with our chosen craft is something that's been on my mind lately. And I completely agree it begins with romanticizing the process. Even if that means taking it slow at first, such that we can ensure we're having fun and become increasingly committed for the epic adventure ahead. All about cultivating that creative spirit! Thank you for your work and message 🙌
Such lovely words! Thank you for the support. It's a huge adventure ahead like you're saying. Just like a videogame, love the process and what's happening and what is to come. It's a beautifully written story we're experiencing. We deserve to have fun, and we should
Well said sir 🤝
this video is GOLD, felt like my higher self was speaking to me
I’m not writing comments often, but your video just popped on my feed, and I think it was a huge sign. I’m an artist, and the things you said here are so much resonate with me. “grow your inner artist” just hit me right into my face and woke me up! thank you so much for this
Your voice makes me think if Dishonored. It's very calming.
this comment was an honor, thank you
This video is very powerful that it doesn't just tell you what to do but also speaks to your heart and soul.
lovely, so happy you feel that way, truly means a lot to read, thats how I want to connect w others through my content, cheers!
This was therapy. Thank you for putting into words how beautiful it is to create. Art is so amazingly beautiful and complex because it means something different to each artist. It must be celebrated for its uniqueness. You just made me ponder, man!!
EXACTLY YESS< so happy you felt that! Art truly is an incredible amazing delicacy, a wonder of a practice. Things are possible through creating and experiencing art that you can't put into words, consider it a gift that you get to create it. Best of luck, God Bless!
I don't usually comment on CZcams but I really want to thank you for this video. I feel like your video came just right when I need it. Really appreciate how you view things and put them into words that truly speak to my creative self. I already subscribed and saved this video in case I need it in the future.
Keep up with your amazing work. Have an amazing one wherever you are. Once again, thank you a lot.
WOw this comment really touched me, thank you so much for expressing that. It's truly a blessing to be able to make the videos I make and be able to help people everywhere in any possible way. Im so happy youre here and a part of the community. We all need to help each other and live lives we enjoy and where were doing the things we love. Thank you for the support, I wish you an incredible week. God Bless
This is probably THE MOST insightful, helpful and compelling artistic inspiration videos I have ever seen. You’re so calm yet everything you say has a motivational weight to it and it really spoke to me on a deep level and made me want to commit to the lifestyle of creativity I feel I’ve lost in recent years. Thank you so much for this, I’m so excited to put what you said to practice and get back to my creative pursuits!
“Creativity is a way of life” has to be one of my favorite quotes ever ❤
WOW THANK YOU! Warms my heart that this video worked so well for you on those levels. I really appreciate you expressing all of this. Couldn't be happier that the content resonates and helps, I hope you do incredible with your projects, you will. Go work on them, do what feels right, live out your creativity. It's a day to day thing, but remember we should make it enjoyable. Take care! DREAM ON
Thought I'd add my story here. Your video came to me on this day where I started drawing twice today after months of having the thoughts that it's stupid or that it's pointless. Today I drew and I felt more at peace and so much calmer than I have in so many months it's ridiculous. And you're absolutely correct when I was drawing things like squares or the basic shapes to build on I hated it My spirit wasn't there I was grinding. But when I just truly expressed myself today It was magical The time there wasn't any time. Ask me what time it is and I would say it was now. So your video comes at a time of growth for me of change It's a universal message to me and everyone else who has watched this video. For me that message is listen to my heart listen to my instinct on what I should draw and when I should draw. And to stick with it no matter what. This has been the best day in months for me and all it took was a little drawing.
wow powerful stuff, so happy this video helped u in any way. its so clear that you are already very in tune with the truth of what youre experiencing. Keep going, do what feels right. Best of luck with your work. Your creative spirit is talking to you and now you need to keep the momentum. Keep communicating and drawing. DREAM ON
Thank you so much for this video. Right when I saw the title, I’m like “this dude has it figured out.” And after watching, I gotta say, you do.
I’ve been stuck in a fatigue phase in my creative pursuit for a year, and it’s been damaging my mental health in a bad way, leading to me digging through existential, philosophical rabbit holes. Deep down in my heart, I know I only waste time and energy, I won’t get any meaningful growth out of these exercise in futility. However, your work shines a light on an enticing path, a new perspective to view my craft. Heartfelt thanks to you 🙏🏻
I’m so glad someone can express and talk about it on this level bcuz this stuff really is deep !! Beautiful video. I’m subscribing
wow so glad you see it that way, thank u sm for the support! happy this connects w you
I really like how you talk about the creative spirit almost as if it is a separate entity. Because it kind of feels like that. Like the overthinking "you" has to step aside to allow the creative "you" to appear and enter into the flow state. Really cool video! I subscribed
Thank you. Perfect timing for a creative struggle/lull I've been in.
amazing, best wishes
That shot with your face in between the books is excellent. Good job 👏🏼
thank you! my key light had 10 sec of battery when filming so I had to rush to get it in time lol
This is exactly what we all need, to make things from our hearts, to lean into our inspirations. Beautiful production!
Life is 99% process 1% success. Love your life love your process.
Good advice, but my soul gets amplified by hearing the soul of others. I love due to their love. I can see their love in their craft and so it inspires me.
Though, I know sometimes, it really cannot be trusted. But yeah, a type of resonance. Its like, the vibes
This is the thing! Nailed it! Thank you for sharing your perspective 🙏
I really resonated with what you said about how making things you don't enjoy kills the creative spirit. For many, many years now, I've tried to write songs and make music that I loved and that I could be proud of. I've rarely found that because I always end up hating everything I make. There's always some new problem I find with it, or more often than not, I just hate everything about those songs. I made them, I should be proud of them, I made something unique. But the hatred has really attacked and sabotaged my creative spirit, like you say. It gets in the way of me learning to get better at the craft by taking long, long breaks in between making songs and by making me tell myself "What's the point?"
It's very easy to feel discouraged carrying that around. It's easy to give up, but I know I don't want to. I will heed your advice. And make something that I love. Make the things that excite me. Where I lack knowledge, I will simply discover what I can, and enjoy the process. Thank you for making this video.
Although you seem young, you’re undoubtedly wise and your words make sense. A lot of these CZcamsrs just spout bs and try to sound inspirational, but this really spoke to me. Keep it up, and thank you
Thank you bro. I needed to hear that.
You have a new subscriber! I’m so thankful to have found a creator with not only so much quality, but heart as well. Blessings to you! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and talents.❤
This man is absolutely spot on!
i love this kind of voice in this type of content bc it's not overwhelming, it's just like a good, wise friend talking to u :,)
I wanna hug you bro, the last minutes really stuck with me, and I needed this.
Thank you for this. Every message resonated with me
for the past decade, if I'm feeling any of the negative feelings you mention I just put on a Jon Bellion behind the scenes. The exact videos you pull from. This film is a beautiful truth!
i literally saw the title and liked the video before watching hahaha
LETS GO, thumbs up on pre order
u gotta first see what he has to say
Thank u, thank u, thank u!!!!! This is what I needed to hear
I'm not a artist, I'm just looking for the strenght to keep on going with my studies. Thank you for such beautiful and profound content.
I see everything as art. My life is the painting and the people are the colors and relationships are the placements of them. My studies are my techniques. I can only speak for myself.
your content is unlike anything ive seen before and it is beyond helpful. thank you so much
that is so kind of you, thank you so much for the love and support, really appreciate it! comments like these are great reminders about the natural creative way I make videos, as how the creative process should always be - natural
That is the kind of content I enjoy watching. It has some kind of truth and poetry vibe. Great storytelling! It really speaks with me. I could watch hours of this. Thanks for the content! I wish you the best!
this comment means so much, so great to see that my natural style of content works so well for people like you. I will continue to make these videos, thank you again! DREAM ON
Such an important message, and so well put!
Awesome message and teaching. Thank you. This is all a gift. Even the hardships, as at least I am living the problems that come with having a clear vision of what I want to do and be.
I missed my heart surgery for this🫶🏾

many thanks to you, it's very inspiring and eye-opening.
Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you!
This is great motivation!
thank you I always find myself working so hard and forgetting I started the journey because it was fun.
Wow. Thank you
I think that if u do what you love then the process is already romanticised. A hell of a lot of our avoiding it comes down to some level of fear, lack of self belief and then trying to bargain with ourselves that we could try and be happy with doing anything other than what we truly want to. Showing up and doing the work is what bridges the gap between idea and reality, and as you put in the work, however you want to do it, then the process will become the most beautiful thing to you because what you're actually doing at that point is beautiful and true. If you don't find the process romantic then you're likely not talking to your true artistic self. Listen to your heart and the process will happen effortlessly.
The timing is crazy
Great encouragement ! Thanks so much
of course! thank u for watching :)
great video. thanks for such a helpful message
Wonderful video, and absolutely valuable advice
Fantastic video I have a dog for a week then walking her a lot have explored playing vinyl records that my family passed on. Been working on experimenting with the environment I enjoy working the most. Drawing, studying and reading. Loved the clip from Jon Bellion!

This video is gorgeous!!! Well done young man!
Such a great video mate, had to watch it a couple of times to digest it properly, there is so much to take away from it.
great video. great work.
This advice can also align with Elizabeth Gilbert idea that creativity is a being, or spirit of some sort that we connect with in order to bring ideas into reality, and that nature and letting yourself be allowed to hear them out helps with the process
yes it is a deeply spiritual connection, there's a lot more happening within than people think when engaging in creativity and if we can be more conscious about that truth, we will astound ourself w our work
@@tozakfilming exactly, I think it is truly amazing how human beings can tap into something like things. It was this understand that made me wanna continue to make art even when it has been a rough battle

This video was amazing i been trying to find the gift that i have and this video helped alot!
Nowadays I can't even play videogames without long preparation to play...😅😢
Though I finally switched to activity that is both entertaining and valuable. Checked this video just to confirm it's true. Just find what something that you'd love to do or at least find something entertaining in your current occupation/activity that's really life-changing
yessss, you really notice how it changes your life day to day, its something to look forward to, a true hobby but something with more meaning and impact
This video is a work of art! Thank you so much for every second of it. You really helped me.
I was addicted to creating looong stories on my first laptop back in high school, then I shared my stories with friends and lost the interest maybe because I was no longer writing for me but the others. I miss that. I developed a passion for drawing but the learning curve got my patience, I still doodle but actually drawing demands so much effort to not meet my expectations😢
