Great interview. I don't know why I am so skeptical about those bilingual schools when I hear the words "perfect english". How could it be "perfect"? I am sure they speak well but to say "perfect" like a native american with the same expressions, slangs, fluency and accent? Colombian food is pretty gross and unhealthy unless you are eating at a nice restaurant, it is crazy dangerous(literally every Colombian I have ever known has been robbed at gunpoint, some multiple times), have seen 20 people get robbed atleast, everyone is lazy and it is impossible to get anything done on time, people are flaky and always out to get you, Colombians completely lack any foresight and would rather make a dollar off you dishonestly today than 100 off you honestly in 2 days, all the women are prepagos or ex-prepagos, men and women are all unfaithful to eachother and it is totally normalized, realestate prices are wayyyy overvalued and Colombians will sit on a property for 20 years trying to sell than reduce the price to reality, the cars are all sh*t models and overpriced, traffic is horrible, everyone is addicted to pink ketamine that they call tusi (supposed to be 2cb), the night clubs are all junk by international standard, the weather in Medellin is not quite hot enough to bake in the sun or enjoy the pool majority of the time.. it is like cool cool spring 99% of the time, good luck finding nice size 12 sneakers, guaro or aguardiente tastes like sh*t and is a bad national drink choice and offered everywhere, the place is crawling with Johns, loud Ausies and pervert American s3X tourists so much now its gross. Medellin is definitely not the place it was 15- 20 yrs ago but I still love living here.

Good information but I don't think you've been to the US for a while. I think a lot of Colombians look at US with rose colored glasses. There are thousands of dangerous neighborhoods there. Uber drivers will steal a wallet in the US as well. I'm not saying Colombia is safer overall than the US, according to statistics it's not, but people need to educate themselves on different areas in any country. In the US you also need to be aware of what color clothes are acceptable to wear in many neighborhoods due to gang culture as well.

great great video i live in Laureles YOUR 100 PERCENT . last year or so I have seen a women university professor point blank shot murdered by a fake rapid delivery on motor bike . He just rang the door bell and older lady came out and shot her . I was on my balcony and seeing it until today hunts me . I also seen a dead cop five minutes after being shoot a few weeks ago in Laureles . they did not even have an ambulance for him until 30 minutes passed he was dead by then
